Well, I'm not fat. I have a wide circle of friends. I'm bad at math (though that's more of a dork stereotype, isn't it?)

I don't think I look like a gamer. Guys are usually surprised when I start talking about Mass Effect around them.

I'm very fit, I'm not depressed, only jaded (big difference), and I never liked social situations even before I started gaming.

172 or so CM high and only 65, at most, KG in weight... far from fat. As for being a looser... well it depends on what 'measuring stick' you're going by. I am not rolling around in large piles of cash or working as a manager at some banking firm so by the whole 'elite' I guess I would be. Nor do I have a serious love interest, this is by choice though as I don't want/need the drama that follows such a thing. So by some 'romantic' peoples standings I would be a looser, even though I could easily get a fuck out of a dozen people I know without even trying! Some even want a relationship... that is troubling me.

Yet I have done FAAAR more in my short 20 odd years then many do in their whole lives. The world I have travelled around five bloody times, and have plans to immigrate to another nation entirely, where hopefully a desk job is in store for me. So by my own recognising... not a looser. Particularly if I can pull this move off, shouldn't have a problem but still stuck on the 'what if' parts that I have no control over.

Depressed... sometimes... but I am a rational thinking cynical in a society designed to crush our spirits while we toil away endlessly in repetitive jobs designed to do nothing more then enrich someone, someone not us. I think I have earned the right to be depressed from time to time. Like all good depressives though I don't blog about it, leave that to the emos who have yet to leave the protection of their parents basements to realise just how bad the real world can be.

Yes... cynical.

So... kinda. People are surprised when they hear I play video games though. I guess nobody thinks a girl loves to blow the heads off zombies. *shrugs* What can ya do? Most guys seem turned on by it though... weird.
I ran into something last night that was so on par with this... some idiot going on and on because they had a chick on their team. Just border line harassment really, and down right embarrassing to both himself and the woman he was fawning over for being a 'gamer chick.' Not surprising she left for another server soon after for more mature servers.

What the hell is wrong with some men? Men... I should say boys.... I firmly believe that half, if not more, of gamers may easily be woman who are just not going to speak on the mic cause they know, it is almost certain, they will run into idiots like the above mentioned guy. Nothing at all prevents a woman from being a good gamer, and from experience they tend to be better at it then most guys. Just less vocal cause there are always idiots unable to think past a pair of breasts....

One reason why I'm glad I don't play on Xbox live. I play with a guy but he is able to get past me being a female. Makes me so happy. Its just weird how guys are surprised when I tell them I play video games, even video games like Resident Evil, and some tell me 'That's hot'. I do have to say that it can come in handy though.

Just in case you can't read the small writing it says 'They play dirty when serious'.

I'm an avid gym goer, well built with a typical athletes small waist and wide shoulders. I play Rugby for my university, Cheer lead at a national level and have no problem in social situations.
at Uni I go out a couple of times a week and game maybe 2 or 3 hours a week.

If you can find a stereotype to put me in I would be very impressed. British Cheerleading and rugby union tend not to mix very often
We had a female rugby team at my uni, i could NEVER see one of them as a cheer leader so well done!

I don't think there really is a gamer stereotype but nonetheless I'm not one of them, I'm just a wannabe gamer who thinks he is addicted to video games which I'm not... now if you excuse me I have to start my private 8 hour gaming session in a dark room with no human interaction whatsoever but hey everybody who isn't a stereotypical gamer does that while they slowly crying themself to sleep wishing they had a girlfriend

Not exactly thin but stocky.
Fairly good at sports, best sabreur in my school (not saying much but I do it fairly often).
Red hair.
Depressed only because it is currently exam time.
So, no. Not really.

Slightly overweight, sure. Loser? No, I'm far too social for my own good.

And depressed? I think I'm going to go laugh over there for a while.

While it is true that most people around me... irritate me, to put it in a charming way, I do have a rather large circle of good friends, and we hit the pubs and clubs every once in a while. I'm definitely not depressed, life's too short for that and I'm having way too much fun. Loser? No way, I've mastered almost every challenge life has thrown at me thus far, and I'm right on schedule.
Fat? Oh yes, sadly. Not surprisingly, I don't have a girlfriend. But hey, this condition is reversible, and I've been working at it - 10 pounds down, 60 to go. :p

I was playing Killzone 2 online the other day with my mic and some guy says:
"Nicole1207..."
(Me) "What?"
"YOU'RE A GIRL!"
"... Yes..."
"Where are you from?"
"... England."
"How old are you?"
"19..."
"THAT'S SOOOO HOT."

I just laughed, sort of felt bad afterwards but nevermind. Also at my GAME store group interview I had like 5 guys all telling me it was amazing that I could play Guitar Hero and Fifa.

MEN.
