Poll: do you hate console exclusives?

i do why because all i have is a 360 but every time i turn on my tv i see a ifamous commercial and i want to play it to see if i like also i want to play little big planet but those are exclusives to the ps3 but my friend has a ps3 and wants to play gears of war but cant because thats a 360 exclusive so do you hate exlusives

No, but seriously, exclusives make the gaming world go 'round. They are the closest thing to healthy competition between consoles, and it's exclusives that let most people decide whose console they'd like to buy.

I'm a PC gamer and I dislike the console trend the industry has taken. The console version of PC shooters seem horribly nerfed, and the PC ports of console natives feel clunky.

From a technical standpoint, a console exclusive means you're getting a game that has been built from the ground up to meet specific specs with little to no variation. Accordingly, it can be better optimized by a long shot.

we dont use each others consoles because hes a prick and doesnt let anyone touch he's ps3

I understand them in a business sense - exclusives sell consoles; as a gamer it can be annoying but so far this generation all of the best games have been across all platforms.

yeah. sure, it annoys, say, Ps3 owners when they see an ad for say, GoW when it was coming out, then it was an xbox exlclusive, but fanboys of both consoles love bringing up their exclusives when arguing...Also, I hardly understood a word you said. is your full stop button broken btw?
