"Hate" is such a strong word. I think the art is generally pretty static and dull, the plot tends to be over-the-top and ridiculous which conflicts horribly with the serious nature he tries to take, the dialogue is suffocating, the characters are bland and based on self-insertion and the parodies are generally unoriginal. I still read it, though. Not quite sure why, but I do. Maybe my inner critic is just working too hard.
