Oh those, I never really read em but never really had an urge to either. I occasionally start reading a webcomic now and again but overall I lose interest about half way in. That or I catch up and forget to check it frequently.
This except I've stopped reading. To be honest I think he'd do better if he just made an independent drama story that isn't using characters originally designed for gaming jokes. The lack of character progression wouldn't be a bother if there was no story, and the story wouldn't be a bother if... yeah.Jiggabyte said:"Hate" is such a strong word. I think the art is generally pretty static and dull, the plot tends to be over-the-top and ridiculous which conflicts horribly with the serious nature he tries to take, the dialogue is suffocating, the characters are bland and based on self-insertion and the parodies are generally unoriginal. I still read it, though. Not quite sure why, but I do. Maybe my inner critic is just working too hard.
How hilariously origional of you, you idiot.kyouger said:...the fact that once Yahtzee showed up, he turned you all into little clones of him...
That, sir, is called character development, which movie critics love and most shallow people hate. Most gamers just want to see stuff blow up and hear witty one-liners instead of seeing characters slowly evolve.evilartist said:I think haters mostly...well, hate it because of the more dramatic direction Tim went with the comic. I love the comic, too, but only because I've grown somewhat attached to the characters over the years. I miss the good ol' days where Ethan would just get drunk and invent holidays or build time machines, but I also care now what actually happens to them.revolverwolf said:As much as it pains me to use the phrase, "This."TheNamlessGuy said:OT: I like all of it, I can say proudly
I don't understand why people hate it to be honest. Could someone enlighten me to the reason(s)?
