I voted Huh.

The parodies are usually pretty good, the story lost me as soon as it started shooting miscarried babies at me.

I read a few of the first ones and they were pretty funny so, no I don't hate it. I haven't read any of the newer ones though.

the fact that once Yahtzee showed up, he turned you all into little clones of him
No.

You have some messed up views of our community.
Yes, yes he did make clones of himself. My beard, glasses and fedora look fabulous on me, if I'm honest.

OT, I can't say I've ever laughed at a comic of theirs, or maybe they're just too clever for me.

I don't hate it. The last couple of comics have been less then stellar and kinda bland, but I still go back hoping for a quick laugh.

Also, Yahtzee turned us into clones of him? Since when? Granted we have the occasional fanboy to him, but I assure you the majority of us are more then capable of thinking for ourselves.

I wouldn't say "I hate CAD or Tim Buckley", but the man does confuse me a little. He has a somewhat entertaining web-comic about a couple of people who play games and do stupid things, fair enough. He then tried to make an arc that was a bit more serious than usual, which is good, he tried doing something different, but he could have tried a better subject.

Edit: I will give the man credit for introducing me to the fallout series a few years back, though.

I'll admit that I check it every once and awhile and I do occasionally laugh at his comics, but I don't really find them particularly funny. It really stopped having good jokes in it some time ago.

I am not entertained by the comics, but the good thing about the internet is that it's impossible to bump into these things whilst on the way to your favorite site. So no, I don't hate it, but I don't like it either.

Less text, more actual punchlines, cut the story-arch bullshit

Then I'll enjoy it (seriously, don't deliver the punchline in the 3rd panel and have the comic be 5 panels long, punch-line goes in LAST PANEL)

I like it. Its certainly more plot oriented than other gaming comics, but that leaves the reader wanting more.

I do not like, however, his new art style. Tim, if you are reading this, please go back to your third generation art. It was batter and not so uncanny valley.

I gave up on CAD years ago when it first started moving away from gaming humor to boring storylines about his vapid characters. None of the jokes were particularly funny or memorable, aside from the miscarriage storyline inspiring some spectacular parodies.

CAD sucks. Plot sucks, art sucks, characters are 1-dimensional. Everything he does someone else was already doing it and doing a better job of it. In closing

OT: I like all of it, I can say proudly
As much as it pains me to use the phrase, "This."

I don't understand why people hate it to be honest. Could someone enlighten me to the reason(s)?
I think haters mostly...well, hate it because of the more dramatic direction Tim went with the comic. I love the comic, too, but only because I've grown somewhat attached to the characters over the years. I miss the good ol' days where Ethan would just get drunk and invent holidays or build time machines, but I also care now what actually happens to them.

That, and I enjoy those sci-fi interactive stories. I wish he'd actually sell them with all the routes we didn't vote for.

I don't care, simply because the best webcomic has already been made. And no, it isn't the bland anti-humor that is Penny Arcade. I talk, of course, of Dr. McNinja.
I Second this!

On CAD, i have no need to hate it, makes me laugh. Didn't Calvin and Hobbes try to be serious with a dead raccoon? I don't hear anyone hatin' on Calvin.

What? What's wrong with it? There is literally no webcomic I have seen that I have not enjoyed.

Feel free to prove me wrong, by the way.

And you really can't criticize the CAD story unless you've read the best story comic on the internet (Sluggy Freelance).

I think that was a dead sparrow.
