Alright, so CAD. After extensive reading on TVTropes, it appears that every single person on the internet hates Tim Buckly and hates what he does. And since The Escapist is one of the biggest gaming forums out there, I figured I'd ask your opinions. I know that this poll is fairly pointless, and the fact that once Yahtzee showed up, he turned you all into little clones of him, but I'm willing to run it anyway for kicks.

Now CAD can be divided into 2 different categories: The Plot (The part of the comic involving Ethan, Lilah and Zeke) and the Parodies (When Buckly does what gaming comics SHOULD do; gaming parodies).

Vote in the poll and PLEASE just try to post your opinion on both sections of Ctrl-Alt-Del's comic. I don't care if you hate something, so long as you have your reasons for it.

Personally, The Plot sections are alright, but getting really melodramatic now and starting to wear on my nerves. The Parodies are actually really funny most of the time, when not blocked by a Wall of Text.

Maybe you should change the poll to "Do you like Ctrl+Alt+Del," and have more options than just yes and no.

I hate Tim Buckly with a passion, and more or less dislike his comics. They used to be pretty funny back when he wasn't famous and so arrogant.

Don't hate it mainly because it used to be pretty good, but now it's just getting a tad confusing.

CAD is the first webcomic that I started to read years ago because one of my housemates pointed me at it. It (the storyline) was a parody of us in our house and from that biased point of view I have always thought it to be my No.1 webcomic.

The general gaming parodies are funny too and I am generally entertained for a few minutes every few days. What else is there to want from webcomic?

I also loved the Civ IV comics he did prior to release.

OT: I like all of it, I can say proudly
As much as it pains me to use the phrase, "This."

I don't understand why people hate it to be honest. Could someone enlighten me to the reason(s)?

I don't hate it. It's not the best webcomic I've ever read, certainly, but I don't hate it. Frankly, I think all the vitriol that gets slung around when CAD is mentioned to be kind of ridiculous. I mean, really. I've never seen people react this violently to something as harmless as a mediocre comic strip.

I usually read it. I like the parodies better than the regular storyline. I think the best idea was the "choose your own adventure" style strips where the audience voted on the decisions the main characters would make. It seemed like everyone voted for the worst possible options just to get the poor bastard killed :).

CAD is still funny, so I still like it. I've never met or spoken with Mr. Buckley so I don't know whether or not he's a jerk.

Mookie is fuckin awesome though

The parodies got old for me and just became unfunny and the plot stuff was even less interesting than the humor I found stale. Pretty much the only thing I ever really found interesting was the Chef Brian strips which can best be described as filling in a Mad-Libs and then using just the words you just filled in to make a comic.

CAD is hit and miss. I like his stories. They're not well told, but it's a free comic and beats the shit they churn out in the papers every day. Also, it's occasionally gaming related, which I approve of.

I read it for a while, I didn't think too much of it. It seemed a little dull, but I can't say I expressely hated it... it's more a void of non-caring.

I'll say you what - early strips were/are pretty funny, but i once tried to read current ones... meh. I guess it's just mediocre.

And i'm not Yahtzee clone in any way, shape or form.
