Overall I was thoroughly unimpressed with it. I could go on long tirades on how much I hate 3D and my opinion that it doesn't add ANYTHING to gameplay...

I have a ds, which is good enough for me, and I'm interested enough in the PSV so I'll probably pick that up.

To be totally frank, I have one but I don't own any 3DS games. Just a boatload of DS games. I expect it's library to be pretty fantastic over time but it's just not now. I really only got one now because my previous DS broke and I needed a new one. A fancy 3DS is as good as anything.

Yeah, and the 3D looks better than any movie I've been to. The library isn't great yet, but it's still a pretty recent release, and how long was it before the last generation systems had a good library of games?

Been playing through Ocarina, and so far it's the best version of the game. The 3D even helps out a bit with the aiming.

I'll probably pick one up at some point just for ocarina of time.
Change "ocarina of time" to Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars, and change "one point" to when they are $50 on ebay and you have my answer. I really want to play X-Com, I mean Shadow Wars, but I'm not going to pay more that $50 for a handheld that I'm only going to play one or two games on. Are they backwards compatible? I know Jagged Alliance was released on DS so that would be two games I'd play on it.

I don't really see the point. I never found 3D that enticing, and I can play all the 3DS games they have on my N64. I think. I haven't heard of much other than remakes in 3D.

I'm going to buy one once SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked comes out. If the library ends up being as good for the 3DS as the one for the DS has been, it's probably going to be just as big a time sink as it's predecessor.

I only recently got a DS Lite because it only recently because worth it for me to buy a DS of any kind (due to my rule of "It must have 12 games I want to play on it before I buy it").

I won't be buying a 3DS for years, if ever.

I don't have one and I don't plan to. I have an original DS and I love it to pieces. I don't really need bad 3D on my system.

Yes, I bought it a while ago, but only because ocarina of time was being remade, and walmart was doing a trade in deal with your old DS's. Getting the 3DS from walmart was an entirely different story altogether, but that is a story for another time...

...And that time is now.

I went to the electronic section of the storre and inquired about the trade in program. The lady who worked there new abouut as much about videogames and her own job as an eskimo did. She INSISTED that there was no such deal, despite the sign right behind her detailing the event. After FINALLY convincing her that the deal was valid, I had to go to the service station and talk to the lady up there. The line was about a half an hour long, but only one person was ahead of me. It was an elderly woman, and she took foreeevvvvveeeeerrrrr. The best part was that the guy behind me looked like he jumped straight out of the deliverance. After getting to the service station, I got to fill out my own form of my DS's quality. I put down perfect quality in all areas, despite them being covered in stickers.

Zelda is awsome though.

I had just bought a DSi with all of my Christmas money when Nintendo announced a new DS. Thus, I hate Nintendo and will probably never get a 3DS. Also, I can play the original Ocarina of Time, along with most other N64 games FOR FREE, so there's no incentive there. And people think that computers aren't the greatest thing ever...

Actually, what I really hate is that 3DS games aren't playable on older systems, so I couldn't play the new Ocarina of Time if I wanted to. Unless I am terribly misinformed, which I wouldn't mind too much.
