I have the theme tune for cowboy bebop. i gues that's nerdy since i first saw it in an anime. but its jazz so its not really nerdy.

As my text tone, I used to have the G-Man saying "Dr. Freeman..." from Half-Life 2: Episode Two that I converted for personal use.

Now I have a text tone I converted from TF2; the Soldier saying "Last one alive, lock the door!" and then the sound of a rocket being fired, once again from TF2.

I leave my ring-tones for songs I like, particularly Coldplay.

Sadly, I do not. Because I don't really spend money on anything except phone calls and text messages on my phone, and don't like spending money on ringtones.

This is why I use a USB cable and BitPim. I have use the Codec ring from MGS and for a few people I've got the original Pokemon intro.

I do, but I use an LG Scoop which can ONLY use self-destructing tones downloaded from the official site directly onto the phone. I imported the opening to Firefly AND the unofficial Michelle Dockery version onto my cell through my SD card which has since gone READ ONLY.

I like it because it's subtle and not obnoxious. So if it goes off during class I normally hear it and know it's my phone shut it off before anyone else realizes. Then again I editted the MP3 to fade in, so that helps too.

My brother has the MGS Codec for his ringtone, and even if he's out in public, he has to crouch behind something and say "This is Snake..." He's 24 and possibly the next nerdiest person after me.
He used to have a Left 4 Dead ringtone I composed for him.

My sister has the 'Mail Bomb Strike' from WORMS as her message tone.

I used Myxer to send that to my old phone, i used it for text messages, also used the Joker's laugh for the alarm, and had Chev Chelios' ring tone as my main one (all made through myxer).

sad thing is though, I got a new phone and Myxertones isn't compatible with it!

For a very brief period, I had a very poor recording of part of the scene from the Jim Carrey film Cable Guy that parodies a Star Trek fight scene when Kirk and Spock have to fight to the death.
