I don't like the implications of this thread. It really is just a sneaky, underhanded, "ha ha, gamers can't get girls," all wrapped up nicely in a poll. And what bugs me even more is that everybody has to qualify their "no," instead of calling the OP out for what he/she is (I haven't been reading that closely, has anyone done this?).
Got myself the loveliest wife a man could ever ask for. Did I mention she's boatloads smarter than me as well? In fact, the stupidest thing she ever did was say yes when I got down on my knees and asked for her hand. Ah, well, even the smartest of us do dumb things every once in a while, it's not like I'm complaining...
I don't really see the importance of love. I'm probably more like Morrigan from DA than anyone else. I mean sure when I see the a beautiful woman I stop and stare but other than that I do not crave love or anything. The fact that I'm goign to die alone doesn't really scare me either as I'm going to die anyway. Though there is always time to change I guess.

No, though I was propositioned by some girl a couple of days ago who saw fit to tell mr every one of her most sordid, dispicable secrets before doing so (to show she could trust upon me). Well fuck her, I say, 'cause she shouldn't have trusted me at all. I wasn't looking for a girlfriend, and I feel free to back stab the poor girl: she told me she was prejudiced towards asian men and blacks, shaved all over, engaged in BDSM, liked to have sex under hypnosis. Ha Ha!
I'm single at this time. Haven't been able to date really since I was kinda unemployed for a while. But since I got my new job over three month's ago, I'm planning on dating around next year to be sort of one of my new year's resoulutions.

The only implications are the ones you're seeing for yourself. I didn't ask people to expand on whether/why they do or don't. I simply wanted to know what % of escapist users were taken. Yes, I do. Though assuming that having a girlfriend automatically equates being "loved up" is kind of... well never mind, I suppose it's an easy assumption to make in our sex-centric society. That said, I'm probably one of the few on this site who has a girlfriend but hasn't had sex. And I'm perfectly fine with that.
