Poll: Do you have a pet?

So fellow escapists do you own a pet of any kind? If so what kind of pet or pets do you have and why did you get one?

I have two Siberian Huskies the male is brown and white with green eyes and the female is black and white with blue eyes. I bought them so they could have puppies and sell them to good families, since I love to see the smiles of the people who come in and take a husky with them.

I have a dog (April), 2 cats (boomer and harley).

Boomer is a crazy mexican, harley is a princess and April is a crazy cattledog who things that she's a cat.

I've had him for a damned long time; about 9 years perhaps. Though it's not his real name, I just call him 'Cat'. He's become amazingly clingy recently though; turned into a Lap Cat and refuses to let me sleep in my room without him at the foot of my bed...

I'm not really sure I'd say "I have a pet" but more of "My dad has a fish he makes me feed sometimes." 3rd one actually. The others died.

I find few things more hilarious than two wiener dogs standing on their hind legs and begging for cheese. Or bounding through deep snow like rabbits.
It's less cute how they will randomly run and bark at the door when nobody's there.

I have one Golden Retriever/Collie mutt named Biscuit. She's friggin' awesome.

While at home I have two cats (Chloe and Oreo) and a Golden Retriever (Sadie).

At college I have one male betta fish named Badonkadonk and two peppered cory catfish named Keenan and Kel

None. Allergic to cats and dogs. Especially cats. I wouldn't want a pet anyway. Too much responsibility. If I want company, I'll just go visit a friend.

I had 3 pet ducks as a kid, but now that I'm in my 20s I really can't have a pet in my dorm room and my parents aren't really interested in taking care of a pet.
