I have my own wireless router that is connected to the main cable at home. Unlimited there since i control it.

The only other internet i would use is up at a Burger King and it's unlimited as well just with a site blocker.

A guy earlier mentioned downloading around 1600GB in a single month, I can only assume if that is true then he really does have no restrictions whatsoever though. Up until reading this post I would have thought the same as you though.
Yeah, that's why I said it's not 100%; there are the few ISPs out there that are truly honest to their word. It can be tough to figure out which ones though :) EDIT: Not to mention, I don't know if that guy is from the US or not...

No caps. Norway rocks on that.
The downside is that 80% of the population is sitting on 40 year old copper telephone lines and thereby get crappy upload speeds. The average speed of a everyday norwegian is about 6000/1000 kbps. But there are the lucky few who got fiber and some kick ass upload speeds(20k/20k kbps, 50k/50k kbps and even 100k/100k kbps) as well (that that shit will cost you the life of your unborn child and then some).

Yes, it's made out of tin foil and I wear it every time I use internet so the eeeevil aliens, religion, reptilians, FBI, and so on can't get in my head!
Similar to what i wear, although mine is made of duct tape (a little sticky and uncomfortable) which proves less useful at trying to keep the FBI (or indeed MI5) out of my head. dammit.

but answering the actual poll question - no i don't have any restrictions on my internet at all (hurray!) except for if an attempt to watch something naughty is made, in which case a visit from the internet moderator will inevitably happen.

It's good, fast internet, but if I download more then 100 gigs per month I pay extra =/
100 gigs? You lucky bastard, I pay extra if I go over 30 =/

And I'm on 40 at the moment...

Out of curiosity, who are you with?
Where exactly in the UK are you? Do you or someone else pay for your internet? I use 02 and would recommended it (if your able to change) £12.50 per month unlimited @ 8meg download

West Midlands. My Dad pays for the internet, but I'm sure he'd jump at the chance to leave Supanet, it's crap.

No cap (I wasn't even aware that was possible), and I get decent speeds, especially considering I'm not using a wired connection.

I got unlimited internet earlier this year along with a speed boost when I bought my new computer. My old cap was 2GB a month. Needless to say I constantly went over it. I mean I have a tally of upload/download for the day (well how long the computer is turned on) it is currently at 459MB, and I've been home about 2 hours.

No download limit, and no parental blocking because, well, my brother and I are trusted, and for the right reasons.

Mines 25GB per month, which is fine considering I only use it for online gaming (and most things I download form Steam are not included in the cap! Thanks Telstra!) The download speeds not that bad either, normally around 4Mb per second, which is quite fast for Australia!

I'm envyious.
I have a 40 GB on peak 40 GB off peak provided by and shared with the owner of my accommodation. It's shared between 4 other people. oO that's over 6 people using that connection. It's around 500kb/s down.

Cableone has a dl/ul cap. Once you reach it your bandwidth is cut in half. Resets daily. Was kind of a drag since I watch a lot of vids on Hulu, youtube, etc, but they recently upped my speed to almost double it's previous speeds, so half isn't nearly as bad anymore.

Capped at 1 TB/month for a community of 50 people. Which means 1 guy uses it as a server for his website, and occasionally pushes the envelope. The rest of us put together use a few GB per month.

My plan (AT&T, $34 a month for 5-meg) has a built-in meter. Starting at 80GB they charge a buck a GB for overusage.

Not that I've ever come within a country mile of downloading 80GB in a month! Most I ever used was 50, and that was thanks to a Steam holiday sale binge.
I use an average of 500gb a month :X

And yes, in my country it is limited on almost every plan, but usually you can pay a small fee to remove the limit or activate free services like electronic bill and automatic pay and they extend your cap to 10000gb for it, essentially making it unlimited.

500GB? Now let me ask you this...do you engage in widespread piracy/filesharing/other illegal activities? Because AT&T's stated reason for their bandwidth cap was that "reasonable customers will not encounter this limit, and we are seeking to limit potential legal difficulties with content owners and providers while allowing our customers access to their legitimate products and services" (quoted from the letter I got outlining the policy when I signed up for service).

I may not have a cap on my internet, but my aunt does. I dunno what she's using, but she said her cap was about 200 megabytes a day.

That, to me, is worse than no internet at all.
