I have a very tight knit group of 3 other real life friends. I have some other "acquaintances" too.

I have a few, but I don't think of people as friends unless I actually talk to them often, and do things with them.

Basically this. I get along with most people, but only have a few friends who I really like and share common interests with

I believe everyone has friends in real life, if you don't, you've shut yourself off from the world and it's your fault, anyone can make friends.

and yes, I have friends, in fact I have a graduation party that Im going to in a few hours.

I tend to make friends easily and get along with most people I meet, but I don't usually get close to people so I have only a few really good friends. Wouldn't have it any other way though.

Wow, now that's audacious.

I have asperger's syndrome, and just about every quirk of a social atmosphere has to be learned, step by step, before I come any closer to interacting with people. All those things that come naturally to someone when talking with friends isn't there for people like us. Heck, I'm lucky; I have the more low-functioning kind. I had to work to get the few friends I do have, and most other people seem to make it a point of ignoring me. I have tried every trick in the book to meet new people, and specifically avoided "shutting myself away" as much as possible. Yet, after all that I have very little in terms of actual interaction to show for it. I have a cell phone that receives about 4 incoming calls a year, I've tried inviting people out to lunch numerous times and never had the favor returned, and at times have felt lonely to the point of contemplating suicide.

There, I'm done. You, sir, are full of BS; don't ever make assumptions about everyone else's lives again.

I have two friends, and then like 5 or six people I like, but don't consider friends
and I had a friend who went to collage, and another who moved.

I have all sorts of friends within different groups. Given how life goes depends on how much time I spend with any particular friend. People move, get married, have kids so I can go years without seeing some and still be friends. Others have more regular contact.

What an insulting question! Of COURSE I have a friend in real life! He's a good friend.

Um... so... yeah.

A handful. There are a couple of people who I work with who I get on well with and, I reconnected with a friend from high school.

Nope. People tend to be stupid, untrustworthy and smell like old milk. Plus I have trust issues.

I think I have about a dozen of good friends, and four I trust completely. That being said, I'm very bad at making new friends, there's a long initiation period at least, but I'm incredibly loyal once I do make them. Loyal to the point where I'd just about help them with anything.

To OP, really, no friends at all? No offense, but you should probably get out more and get yourself a hobby which involves a bit of co-operation.
