My best friend's mother came out and divorced his father. Seems kind of harsh but she's a great person, and her partner is very nice too.

Since you were posting that as flame bait, I'm not going to indulge you. I'd like to, but I have a "Do Not Feed The Trolls" policy.

Have a nice day.
Yeah. My fingers are itching with the impulse to yell a hasty, irritated response. >>

No. I only know one Gay kid in my school, but I've never talked to him. He's kind of an asshole.
I've known a couple asshole gay people, too.
OT: Sure, I do. Hell, in college, you meet tons of people who are GLBT.

I know a few, and most of them were the stereotypical limp-wrist lisping guy's. But some of the other's are just guy's who happen to enjoy the men of the same sex, you wouldnt know it unles you asked them.

Lesbian's on the other hand, I dont know any of them around here.

My best friend is gay, but he's not gay about it---if that makes sense.

I can't stand the ones who prance about and act down to the stereotype. My friend Mike is a badass and a man's man who just happens to like having sex with dudes, which is why I respect him and would stand and fight with him if a bunch of "gay bashers" were to start something.

One of my friends is apparently bisexual, but it may just be a phase combined with annoyance at men for all I know.

Gay but not camp?. Is that what your trying to say?. Or gay but doesn't make constant references to the fact that he's gay and just treats it as normal?.

Also, I can see this thread (like most threads on homosexuality) getting really nasty within the next few pages. Prove me wrong guys and gals... Prove me wrong.

Well, my dad's gay... So his boyfriend kind of counts as a friend.
wait, your dad's gay?How the hell are you alive?
Because he didn't come out until after being married. For [I don't forget how time works] years.
Whenever I got asked that, I wonder how people can completely miss the obvious. It's the main reason I don't tell people about my dad.
People don't tend to follow up that far, actually. It's far too awkward to continue a conversation much further than that, it seems.
It may be in a "Oh God, I'm and idiot" kind of way.
