Yes, but it only flares up when I run or when it's horridly hot and humid. Emergency inhaler only.

My sister has Asthma, but no one else in the family does. It also seems to be getting less severe the older she gets.

I got diagnosed with it when I was about four after a severe allergic reaction and a surprise visit to the hospital. It comes and goes, but is never really too severe. It actually bugged me a bit last night, but it passed quickly enough.

I have it, and though it was much more severe when i was a small child it's been wearing off bit by bit. I use Symbicort (daily) and Ventoline (when i'm sick or before p.e and such) so i don't really notice it much, but i reckon it could be a problem if i didn't take my meds.

I have it but isn't severe or anything. I had it pretty bad as a kid, but now it comes and goes, mostly goes. Acts up sometimes in Winter though.

I'll add that I take Salbutamol HFA at 100mcg and Flovent HFA at 125mcg.
I've been getting worse with age.

Yes, but it's not that bad, but I usually use it as an excuse to do anything because I'm a lazy bastard.

My allergies on the other hand...

No, but thanks to cigarettes, I might get it later on in life. I am pretty active though, so we'll see. I certainly hope I don't.

I don't. When I was younger, however, I wished I did, because I thought those medication puffers were the coolest things in the world. I don't know why.

That's pretty awful Newfiegirl 110; haven't even heard of those treatments until now. So, how long did you smoke for, and was it that which has made your asthma unmanageable now?
Actually, I only smoked for a couple of months...and not heavily. just a phase. At that point I was halfway stable...although I didn't know at the time how much worse it could get. My body has the unfortunate habit of developing allergies, the most inconvenient one being to all forms of oral steroids. The only way to get them into me is via IV. Meanwhile my skin, tissues and organs have all been compromised by earlier treatments, so I had to have a Port-a-cath surgically inserted in my upper chest, just below my collarbone. Fun times.
My main task these days is staying out of the hospital. So far this year I've been in for 4 weeks. Thank heavens for Torchlight...kept me busy.
Hope that answered your questions.
