No idea; never been. I am going to Italy the UK, and France but I'd really like to go to Germany as well. I will when I gt older probably. I've met a fee ethnic Germans before through my English teacher, and they seemed like very nice people. Also, I've heard nothing but good things about Germany from people I talk to. But like I said, I've never been, so I don't know.

Lived there once, want to move back, retire there. Great weather, good food, stable economy and government, GREAT people!

language? not big on european languages, but German is growing on me.
scenery? i've never been there.
People? haven't really met any.

No I don't hate Germany, as is the case with any other country. Plus, Germany's produced some pretty cool shit.

I may be a bit biased coming from WWI era immigrants to Wisconsin...but I love Germany. The culture, the wars they fought, the leaders they had...

And for the record, I don't give a damn how poltically incorrect this is: They had a true, well founded reason to go to war. A nation of such a grand and beautiful history does not deserve to put down for the atrocities committed by a single group during WWII.
As an American, with the blood of multiple nations, Native American ancestry, and all included...I am must apologize for the slander and downright unfair treatment you all receive at the expense of our movies and Hollywood. You all deserve a better portrayal in history than that.
