Poll: Do you like Sonic '06?

If there ever was a game without dignity, it would be Sonic 06. Who looked at this and said "yep that is fine for our mascot and (former) flagship franchise" at Sega? Were they gassed or something?

I actually did like it...

Sure it wasn't without it's problems, but playing as Silver was actually kinda fun... I never made it up to playing Shadow because the PS3 died, but I enjoyed it while it lasted...

I thought it had been proven that Sonic '06 is objectively better than Portal [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.395876-Sonic-06-Objectively-Better-Than-Portal] going by modern standards. So the sheer amount of no votes, and the bias in number of no choices in comparison to yes choices is confusing to me.

Seriously though, I actually had moments and flickers of legitimate fun (as opposed to so bad, it's good fun), which is more I can say than some games I've played that are rated higher than it and it has a legitimately awesome soundtrack (like pretty much every Sonic game) so I voted yes.

It seems you've caught me in one of my moments where I actually look back somewhat fondly on the game XD

It's bad. It's very bad. Objectively so, even. But at this stage it's reached a level of awfulness where it can no longer disappoint or hurt because you know exactly what the experience is going to be like.

Well, it's better than some games I've played (Anna and Every day the same dream, for instance) But that's not saying much as eating broken glass is better than either of those two.

It is like a train crash, its fun to watch if you are not a part of it, that is why Game Grumps' and Pokecapn's lets plays have been so successful.

Played Sonic '06 for several levels, and it's the only game I have ever returned out of plain awfulness.

Game Grumps totally justified its existence though. ^_^

I've never personally played it, so I can't say whether or not I like it.

However, from gameplay videos... It does look preeeeeeeeeeeeety bad.
