I agree with this.l33tness08 said:My question is... if you can't stand him... WHY OH WHY OH WHY do you concern yourself with it? Don't like it? CLOSE THE WINDOW! then proceed to say to yourself, "Wow, I didn't enjoy that. Meh who cares, let's go watch something I DO enjoy instead and never think about it again."
You are missing the point. There is a difference between not liking something and being against something.OldRat said:Uhh... you do realize that people, generally, are against something because they don't like it? If they liked it, they wouldn't be against it.
Redundancy aside, people are allowed, and indeed should, express their opinions about things. Otherwise, it's impossible to actually gauge any reactions and sooner or later everything has turned into shit.
His question wasn't directly aimed at you, but the people in general who complain about the show.Ellen of Kitten said:I ran a search, and didn't see a similar thread. And to answer your question (which could have been less confrontational);
Ellen of Kitten said:I want to see if the majority of us feel the same way.
Extra credits funny? I must of missed that episode.i7omahawki said:Yes Jim, you're bad because you're saying things that have already been said, in a format like other shows here, the main problem being that yours is considerably worse in presentation and structure, less informative, not as funny (even not as funny as extra credits), and poorly constructured arguments that are neither functioning critiques nor biting satire. .
I dont know of any other show like his, ZP is about video games and tends to be about small things that dont make sense, jim is more about the industry.i7omahawki said:TL;DR? His show is awful because it is a poor imitation of what we already have, done worse, with ten times the hubris and swearing..
Dont know about that, he did include lots of men as well.spielberg11 said:He seems to be fixated with 'ironic' nudity and being degrading to women ? if you notice, his screenshots are always of women, lesbians or breasts ? but I hardly see these videos as a way to win someone over.

can you quote a few lines? I don't use twittr, and don't know how to find these swipes.Knight Templar said:His lattest one wasn't funny at all and his responce was to take swipes at people on Twitter.
More or less what I'd expect given how he has acted in the past.
So far on twitter he has loads of girls retweeting that his show is in no way sexist.Ellen of Kitten said:can you quote a few lines? If by 'radical' you mean unworkable, nonsensical, and perhaps barely qualifying as an idea at all, then sure. This is what I mean about it being too close to the format of other shows, like a mix between ZP, extra punctuation, extra credits, and the big picture...it just doesn't add anything new.weker said:Extra credits funny? I find extra credits entertaining and intresting with his theories and solutions and the same goes for Jim.

He is not like extra credit either because of his radical ideas.
yeh i know how you feel, when ever u make a thread people say 'YES' to a question but there's rarely a justification of the answer.Ellen of Kitten said:I sure wish the one person that checked "love it" would have spoken up. I'd have liked to hear why.
The show is a combination of two things that are similiar, but not made better, but worse when put together. Also he does seem to pretty one-sided on these things.gigastar said:Well the first episode seemed to drag on a bit. Im going to leave it at that.
The second one however really made me believe that its some sort of cross between The Big Picture and Zero Punctuation.
That is, Jim takes the piss out of things that he has an opinion on.
