I've always found it infantile and stupid, plus every one of my fucked-up ex-girlfriends loved it.

The boosh is an aquired taste. it took me ages to warm up to the show. To get into it, i say, simply watch the milky joe episode. you believe that they're real! watch it and you'll understand

I personally like it, and while I realise it's not laugh out loud hilarious all the time, its entertaining, and that's enough for me, after all, how many 'normal' sitcoms are just mildly amusing while not even being very entertaining and get commisioned forever?

I do think it suffers a little from the 'Buffy' syndrome, in that it has a large female fanbase because of Angel/Spike, or in Boosh's case, Noel Fielding.

/raises flame shield.

Note I'm not saying women can't enjoy Boosh on it's own merits, but I do wonder how many like it for the eye candy.

Thought the first series was amazing. Third series was short and stale, but I still enjoyed it somewhat. I'm kind of hoping there won't be a fourth; it seems to have run its course, really.
I have to agree the first series inn the was the best, especially the episode 'death'...the second series was good but by the third series they were more famous and too self-conscious and just recycled ideas...like a weaker Bob Fossil dance...

i like it but hated series 3 (except for journey to the centre of punk) because they overused the counsel of shamin (and the "this is an outrage", not funny the 50th time) and never went on crazy enough adventures - they never went further then down the road, it was just lame

its hit and miss with me - i do like some parts of it to be honest, i think noel fieldings stand up is quite good and I thought he was funny in the IT crowd too.
Ah, finally somebody mentions it. The IT Crowd = Awesome.
Oh hell yeah it is! The IT Crowd has always made me laugh, same with Black Books.

But yeah,, on topic I like the Mighty Boosh. It's really funny, and random. I think what the problem is most times, is people are watching to many episodes of it so it loses some randomness if that makes any sense.

Did you ever drink Baileys from a shoe?
Look at my pictures! This one is baileys, and this one is baileys, and this is as close to baileys as you can get without getting you're eyes wet

You like baileys?
Ever drank Baileys from a shoe?
Ever been to a club where people wee on eachother?
No?
Neither have I, but I do love the show and the randomness of it, but the third series is nowhere near as good as the old ones.

IT Crowd is a legendary show.

And I'd have some Noel Fielding any day.
Dude, I love IT crowd.
COMPUTER HELLO!
Well, have you tried turning it off and on again?
You don't know how a button works?
Nothing beats the one whre they go to a gay musical... or the cannibal one.

series 3 was awful goddamnit! if you liked it (minus journey to the centre of punk) then you're just a sheep who likes things because they think they're really original and like indie crap but series 3 was just a sellout - repeated jokes made worse, no sense of adventure any more, few good original characters

Well I'm a fan of Tim and Eric but I think their show has gone downhill since the second season. They just keep trying to get awkward old people to do awkward things and its getting well... old. When they go nuts with the random shit they are downright hilarious and sometimes even a bit genius. I have cried from laughing multiple times.

Now The Mighty Boosh on the other hand takes comedy a completely different way by having a show filled with random things but makes COMPLETE SENSE. I love how they go into detail about every new character and you learn their ridiculous history. All of the episodes are very well written and all of the characters are flipping awesome.

I would easily choose mighty boosh over tim and eric.

EELS UP INSIDE YA, FINDIN AN ENTRANCE WHERE THEY CAN!

I watched one episode of it.

I was disturbed.
this right here
I watched Nanageddon
which is supposedly one of the funnier ones
I didn't laugh once.
So, a resounding no from me
Although I now have an irrational fear of old ladies..
i found nanageddon to be the worse episode of the second series
