Poll: Do you play games standing up or sitting down.

I'll occasionally stand while playing on a console

So far standing at the computer has been less successful

I usually sit, but if it's multiplayer or something, and there's nowhere to sit, I'd prefer to stand than to sit on the floor.

yeah im a bit of an odd ball and many of my friends have critizied me on this but I tend to stand alot when playing games.

Always sit, especially since I'm mostly a PC gamer. Even when playing Rock Band wif me matez, and when "Don't Stop Believing" or "Dead or Alive" are on, I'm the only one sitting, cause I'm the drummer...

I only stand up to play Guitar Hero, other than that I sit for everything. I can't imagine why you would always stand while gaming, seems uncomfortable and awkward.

I usually sit playing but when i play on my consoles if i get into a high intensity fight i will often stand up, strangely enough if i am standing whilst playing i will sway side to side.

Well, I sit for my pc, I stand for the wii, and I have to stand for my xbox cause my tv is so high up, that if I sit, I can't see much and it's all blurry.

I sit down but when say on mw2 and on team deathmatch and scores are 7400 and 7400 i stand for some reason,oh and if im playing guitar hero i also stand

I always start sitting.

But then after a while I always realize I'm standing up. It's involuntary, I never notice that I stand.

Well the only game that you would really have to stand up to play is Guitar Hero, because if you sit down while playing it, then you obviously have no life whatsoever.

I don't get that standing aspect, unless you're stretching for a second or something. Don't really care about it either.

The platform makes all the difference here. I've only tried Wii a little, but with that I'd prefer standing. Same story with Guitar Hero, played that for an hour couple years ago. I basically only play PC games as I've never had any consoles, so sitting is the obvious choice.

I've always wondered why people buy those gaming chairs. Now I know it's because most people sit while gaming... Another tally to the number of statistics I'm in the minority of.
