Poll: Do you play Runescape?

I was just wondering if anybody here played runescape. I just started playing again (it said the last time I logged in was in 2007(by the way, my username on the site is 2.0man if you wanted to play). and I noticed that not as many players play it anymore.

I guess I also want to know why that is.

I stopped playing when they made that insanely restricted arrangement when it came to trading and wilderness. Now that those two things are largely fixed I've started playing again, and I still think it's a great game.

i saw someone play it and it didn't look like something i'd be interested in. Maybe had i played it and seen more of the game i'd think differently but from what i saw i won't be giving it a go any time soon

Nope. I saw a friend get temporarily addicted to it, and it was pathetic. WoW I can sort of understand, but being hooked on Runescape is the gaming equivalent of a glue-sniffing habit.

I used to play it when I was 12-15. I enjoyed it too as a lot of my school friends played it and it was a way of socializing without racking up massive phone bills etc while doing something fun. However I completed every quest (Back when desert treasure was the hardest) and then stopped as I had nothing new to do.

Still have over 4 million on it if I remember correctly. Just wasting in my bank ^^

I've had a RuneScape account since 2001 (I still rock the Bunny Ears and Scythe, unfortunately I wasn't aware of previous holiday drops). I've gone through occasional bursts of playing it frequently, usually lasting a month or so, the last being over a year ago. I voted "No, but I used to", though I'll probably pick it up again whenever I feel like it or have the time.

It has been F2P since 1999, membership is optional.

Yer, by all means. I'm never going to use it. Isn't there trade restrictions on the game now to stop scamming now though?

I believe they removed that several weeks ago, due to it being completely retarded.

yeah but the things that are availebel in the f2p section are a smal fraction of the game. it's like you're playing a demo
