I've never been a big drinker and I'm more of a cocktail drinker when I do, but to answer the poll I prefer wine over beer. We've always had wine in the house when I was growing up, so I'm used to it.

Neither I hate both, they both taste bad to me. But i'd prefer wine since beer makes me physically ill.

I'll take a clear mind, thank you. But if I had to pick one I would say wine. My taste buds sort of tolerate red. But they both taste like I am licking the floor of a very dirty movie theater to me

I picked beer because I drink it more often but I like them both. I prefer drinking beer at parties and for playing drinking games. I also prefer a nice cold beer on a hot day. I prefer wine with dinner and when we have movie and board games night.

Most of the types of beer I have drunk do not taste as good alone as wine does. I only drink about 10 alcoholic drinks a year, so I prefer to drink wine with friends and family.

only reason I've ever drank was to get drunk.

Wine gives me a light hazy drunk feeling. but I feel it more than the beer.

Beer gives me even a more lucid drunk feeling.... So unless it's a strong brew, like 12% alcohol content, I don't drink it.

Overall, I would say beer.

Though, it really depends on the individual beverage. Some beers are just terrible, and I wouldn't drink them unless someone had a gun to my head. I dislike white wine, and conversely, IPAs. The IPA is usually an over-hopped mess, because 150 years ago, in order to preserve the beers traveling to India for the voyage, they had to use more hops than usual. I prefer something flavorful, with medium bitterness.

Get me a bottle of good Sangria and me and it will make sweet sweet oral love all night long.

As for beer? I can only stand a couple brands. Yuengling is nice and the occasional Red Stripe or Heini is all right too.

Don't really like either. But wine is kind of drinkable while beer makes me want to puke.

Out of the two wine everytime. Now If cider was thrown in things would be different. I love cider, especially a good scrumpy.

Depends what the situation is. As just a casual drink in an evening, I prefer a beer. With food, generally wine, unless I'm having Mexican. At a bar, I'd never order wine, mainly because it wouldn't last me long enough to make the cost worthwhile, whereas a pint can last a while (although it usually doesn't).

If I'm just trying to get drunk, wine is by far the better option. A cheap bottle of wine costs about £4 and will get me drunk, I'll just top it up with shots and spirits as the night goes on. Spending £4 on beer, I wouldn't be able to even feel it, and it would make me really gassy all night.

No option for single malt whiskey, I'm dissapointed.

I'd pick beer over wine anyday, not that I don't like a good glass of wine, well i say glass, when I drink wine when on a night out I rend to go through a few bottles

both red and white wine over beer for me. i know some beer is less bitter than others, but i just don't like bitter tastes, it's the same reason i don't like dark chocolate (i know, i'm crazy lol) i've had a wide variety of different beers and ales since my dad's hobby is brewing but i still prefer a nice wine over beer. its just a pallet thing. i never drink it in large amounts so the kick isn't ever really a big deal for me. i limit to one beer, maybe a glass and a half when it comes to wine. certain beer's are fantastic with pizza though.

Neither, it both tastes like spoiled fruit juice.

*elitist anti-alcohol opinion*

well, when it comes down to it, I'd prefer wine.
