I played the free multi and it's ok. I got in on pc by the by however and when I do play it, I ask myself, why am I not playing team fortress 2?

No, it was, and still is, great fun and a joy to play. I literally stopped playing some Spec Ops with a friend, and that was quite fun. Campaign is my favorite though, closely followed by Multiplayer. Love to Ground War, Team Tactical CTF and Hardcore Team Deathmatch.
Worth every penny and then another £20.
Shame about the map packs though, I would buy them, but their to expensive and I only like half the maps, and despise the others (Fuel specifically).

Nope. I got it on PC as a christmas gift, actually enjoyed the campaign, and I just bought it on 360 a few weeks ago and have enjoyed it even more. The multiplayer has balance issues, but I still find myself having fun for some strange reason. I guess it's just a good feeling to see you leveled up and have unlocked a new weapon, or you just got your 50th kill with a gun and unlocked a cool new scope. It's a fun game, dammit.

EDIT- I even bought both of the damned map packs on Live. Yes, I do feel ripped of, and yes I do feel like I should have JUST gotten the second one (The trailer park map is just awesome) but it's still fun.

However, if they DO implement subscription fees, I will gladly abandon the franchise and never look back. I honestly like BC2's multiplayer more, anyway.

Undecided. I Got my money out of it, I bought it used for $40 then played it for a while and sold it for $30. So, yes, it was worth the $10 I lost on it, but it certainly wasn't a worthy successor to the first one.

I've just finished the split screen Spec-Ops with Fellwarden and I can say that it was great fun.
The single player was short, but it was fun too. (Except "Loose Ends" on Veteran, I hate that mission.).
The multiplayer is fairly very unbalanced, but when I play online with some friends, it's always fun because we rape face without a sniper and a knifer, we don't camp, we run around with Sleight of Hand, Stopping Power and Ninja Pro. I can tell you, it gets really fun sometimes.

Not worth it. The multiplayer, which is what most of the buyers are touting, is more like a day job that you actually PAY to do rather than something you do when you're not working.

I think I'd rather have bought it, since it showed me exactly how boring and repetitive online multiplayer can be. Also, I had fun with it. I'd say that's an important factor.

Even though the online was horribly broken, I found single player fun.

I can't wait for Black Ops to come and be a million times better. Dedicated servers? Zombies? Helicopters, crossbows and lots of gore? PUBLIC BETA TO HAVE A BALANCED MULTIPLAYER?! Yes, please.

I had some good times with it in the first few days before everyone became retards online. It was a lot of fun before the Noob Tube and Commando spam began a week or two after release. Now CoD4 puts it to shame, so yea I do regret it.

I voted No because I can't regret buying something that I didn't actually buy. Much better, I think, than clicking the smart ass option of the poll

I don't regret things. Playing something (even if its bad) is an experience that helped build the man I am now, mistakes are a specific material needed to make a personality.
