Poll: Do you regret buying Modern Warfare 2?

My younger brother gave me the game as a present. So the question doesn't quite apply.

But I regret that he spent so much money on it. AU$80 is a fair bit for a 13yr old.

Like many, I did not buy Modern Warfare 2.

Basicly i've got my moneys worth out of it with the multiplayer it is a case of fantastic gameplay BUT i do regret getting it because i have said ok to infinity wards decision to fuck pc gamers in every way possible just so they can save some time by not having a second development team

I bought it for PS3 and I don't regret it in the slightest. In fact, it's one of the better purchases I've made. It's just a a lot of good, dumb fun. Killing 14 year old boys is fun (not in that way, you sick, sick people), I can't say much else than that.

Traded it in for Final Fantasy XIII. Regretted that even more.
Then I traded FFXIII for CoD4. Haven't looked back since.

I'm more of a sometimes guy but it seems like i've been raging at the game a lot lately. I'm due for a new game that isn't full of hacking and glitching.

Luckily I didn't buy it, I borrowed a friend's copy.

I'd probably regret it if I did buy it.

Nope I still love it. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever regretted buying any game. I mean money is money, I figure I'm going to earn more of it next week (and probably spend it too) so I never get buyers remorse.

I bought it on PC. It is the worst FPS on PC. It is average on consoles.

I regret buying BFBC2 on 360. I thought it would be fun with friends, but no wasd/mouse will always be superior to a controller.

I dont buy FPS for the PC either unless its from Valve. It's the only major publisher I know of that still lets users create content and share amongst the players.

Why would I regret buying a game with a kick-ass single player campaign? I didn't buy the game because of the multiplayer.

I don't feel it's the godsend that many gamers say it is, but as an enjoyable experience, it's adequate enough.

No, I don't regret buying the game, it's fun on multiplayer when I have a friend playing with me which cuts down on the frustration I receive, and the storyline was interesting, loved the spec-ops missions, it was a good buy.

No, It was an FPS that, while on the multiplayer side could have been balanced a bit better, was incredibly fun and addicting. On the other hand I do regret buying Bad Company 2, due to the campaign being bland and the multiplayer feeling like MW2, except slower. It seemed like their only goal when making it was to make a better version of MW2, and while it did feel more tactical, it lost the excitment that MW2 had.
