Poll: Do you scream when you are scared/surprised?

Straightfoward question . Do you scream when scared/surprised? If so give an example of a when you will scream?

I never scream , i don't find screaming very manly ( personal opinion) but i've seen men and women scream before , and i find it a little weird .

The only times you should ever scream.

1: You've just stood on a plug (especially a British plug, those 3 pronged bastards).

2: Some twat just knocked over your pint.

3: When Skyrim is in your hands.

4: Your biscuit just broke off in your cup of tea.

Any other situation is unforgivable.

No I don't scream, I inhale sharply and get momentary tunnel-vision. Then swear loudly at the thing/person that scared me. Sometimes when I'm really scared, there is a sort of white flash, but I can't think of what that may be.

I think I tend to roar, actually. Or more a deep-throated "ARGH" as opposed to a shrill "EEK" or a midrange "AIEEEEE".

I gasp and then use that air to scream JESUS FUCKING CHRIST! So screaming yes, squealing or whatever most girls do no. Seriously, when I'm at a haunted house or something a girl does one of those high pitch screams I want to punch her in the throat. That noise is just nails on a chalkboard to me.

No, I jump/jolt or whatever you call it. All anyone needs to do to make that happen is touch my shoulder when I'm not paying attention. I jump easily.

Say "Ah!" or gasp or make a sound that is perhaps sort of loud, but not the loudest sound I can make? Yes.

I scream but in an oddly sarcastic and slightly monotone way. As if I just had a shot of botox injected into my face while trying to scream. It's not like I do it on purpose. I suppose it's just my instinct to go "Ahhh!..." in my monotone voice when something startles me.

Not really. I do punch though. It makes things rather awkward if a friend decides jump out of no where and scare me during Halloween...only to end up with a face full of fist and a bloody nose.

I don't scream, I just flinch and then pretend it never happened, or if I'm terrified by something I just approach it pretending it doesn't scare me to prove the point that I am so awesome I don't get scared, I almost fell down a mountain just to prove I wasn't scared of heights, and well I don't like dogs much and doing that caused a dog to bite me in the leg, I still have the scar.
I know that's a really stupid role to assume but I kinda had too, someone had to be the protector and I don't think any of my brothers had it in them, so I just started pretending to be strong so I could show them that there is nothing to fear but I might have taken it a little too far, and if I keep talking I'll tell you all the story of my life so I better stop now.

I usually shout "SHIT!" or really loud "FUU" and then a soft ck afterwards, "FUUU..ck". No screaming from me, just those expletives.

I mostly just get startled. Don't scream or anything like that. Just jump a bit. Very rare that it happens, but it happens.
