I'm honestly the exact opposite. If I shower in the morning my hair looks like hell all day but if I shower at night before bed it looks pretty good. For some strange reason my hair is only ever presentable if you give it at least five hours for the natural oils to build up. This is universally true; regardless of the shampoo or conditioner I use my hair always looks horrible right after I shower.

So long as it's dry when my head hits the pillow my hair is pretty manageable the next morning. Just comb it down to get out the knots and hit it with the hair dryer to knock out the slight curl in the tips that makes me look like a dork if I don't.

Why is there no both option?
I work with formaldehyde and I usually have to shower before and after bed or my hair turns really dry and feels like straw.

I'm exactly the same. I used to shower before bed, but not anymore.

Eh. I see what you mean.

If I shower before though, it flattens out to the shape of my pillow and will stick up about a foot in the air.

I have long, curly hair by the way.

It does something similar when I shampoo it, so I don't shampoo/condition very often. Makes my hair frizz and look really dry.

In the morning, usually. I'm a very poor sleeper and usually end up sweating my metaphorical tits off, so a shower in the morning keeps me from reeking the whole day.

I do it at night.

Hey, it helps me get to sleep, it warms me up before the cold night, and it's not like I'm rolling around in muck or anything.

Plus, you don't NEED to stay up later for night showers.
You DO need to get up earlier for morning showers.
More sleep.

true dat! if i don't have my shower my hair retains the shape it was when pushed against a pillow.

I've got like a beatles mop only slightly curly, if I don't wash my hair EVERY DAY it turns frizzy as hell and even if I do i need to wear a hat for half an hour to set it in place before going out.

my hair takes me like an hour every morning, it's my one metro habit.

In the summer i shower anytime i feel like it. In the winter i avoid showers as they are more colder then the bath (mine either burns me or is too cold as the settings are bust).
