I just finished beating Dead Rising's overtime mode again, and I noticed how AWESOME the credits are. They have a kick ass song, and behind the words, is a horde of zombies, very far off, and then getting closer and closer, until you are in the crowed, looking at each zombie. And after the credits, it has the final little note explaining the end, and that awesome final note in red letters.
[spoiler/]And yet he complained, his belly was not full[/spoiler]

So, do you people wait and watch the credits of anything? Movie, tv show, video game? If so, why? If not, why?

EDIT: someone please tell me how to make red colored words...

Only if there's extra stuff at the end...or, in the case of video games, if the game won't let me skip them.

My friend and I have a policy about going to the cinema:

If it's an incredibly good film we sit through the credits and talk about how good it was while everyone else is leaving.

If it was an incredibly shitty film we sit through the credits while giving the screen the middle finger.

Anything in between and we leave before the credits are through.

All the music in that game kicked a rediculous amount of ass. The day I finally found a decently priced import of the soundtrack for Dead Rising was a happy day indeed.

OT: If I'm watching a movie I generally don't stay for the credits unless I suspect there'll be something after them, or they're cool credits with good music. With a game it's the same, except that I rarely ever skip through the credits, but if they're not interesting I'll go mess around on the computer while they play in case something cool comes up after they finish.

To make red words you use this {*color=Red*} [/*color*]

OT: With the resurgence of the Marvel comics movies I always sit through their credits because there's always something awesome at the end.

That is a good policy.

And if you want to play a good game and see some credits...

Almost always. If there's a post-credit scene, I want to see it. Also, I don't like fighting my way through the crowd when I'm leaving a theater, so I find it's more prudent to just wait until everyone else has left.

I sometimes watch the credits. It really depends on the situation, like if I want to find out who did something (actor, cinematographer, director), if there's stuff at the end, how much I liked the movie/game, or if I already saw it before.

It depends. I may sit through credits if there's something awesome at the end, or if there's something in the start of the credits (out-takes, bloopers, etc.), but otherwise no. I played FFX and completed it last night (for the first time ever... thank you, Trio of 9999!). I watched the ending cinematics, then during the credits went and cooked my dinner. When I returned they were finished.

However, I also saw Toy Story 3 on Wednesday, and we sat through the start of the credits to watch the 'extra scenes', including a really funny one with Buzz and Jesse dancing Spanish style. So yeah, sometimes I like the credits, sometimes they're boring.

Of course, given the right soundtrack to the ending, I'll sit through credits regardless of extra scenes or whatever... :D

The credits have to be Okami or Portal awesome to be worth my attention, otherwise I instantly skip them.

I don't have the patience for 'em, unless I'm with my friends and we can make fun of the names or talk about the movie a little.

And as far as bonus scenes at the end, not very many movies have them, and most of the ones that do-- they aren't worth the wait.

I have only watched the credits on something once and that was the first Fable and that was only because you had to let the credits finish to continue playing the damn game.

Yah, even if the movie is meh, or if im with friends and they're all leaving or something. But i prefer to give my respects to people that put a lot of work into the movie or game. It helps when there's stuff at the end, too. But that seems to be happening less and less.

Yes, but only for bonus stuff. And that's only in games. Some games, I have to sit through them for the post game save, and things like that.
