No although I would like to smoke a pipe, if only they would invent tobacco which isn't addictive and doesn't make you ill.

And maybe had some beneficial or amusing side effect.

I need a bubble pipe.

Yeah, I smoke tobacco, whenever possible. Despite the fact that our government and the health-and-fucking-safety-people seem to have gotten in their minds to make smoking almost impossible here (it seems they compare us to serial killers in their add-campaigns).
They also got in to their tiny little heads that we, mature and responsible people, can't make our own decisions hence the "No smoking signs everywhere"

Yeah but only like 2 a day max.

I know it sounds retarded and probly like I'm lying to myself but I'm sure you can't get addicted if you keep this limit. I've been doing it like this for like 4 months now and I can go days without even thinking about it or wanting one. I also never feel the need for one I just have one to calm me down or to mellow out. And to kick off my imagination, it goes into overdrive after a smoking buzz.

I've been smoking for almost 11 years, only regularly for about 6. I started because smoking weed then smoking a Newport got me higher. I haven't smoked Newports for about 8 years. Yuck.

One day I'll quit. I have been cutting back and now I smoke the lightest cigarette ever, American Spirit Ultra Lights. I can barely tell the difference between smoking one and taking a breath of air.

I don't smoke. Nor do I drink. And I never will begin doing either one of those. Simply because I am not obligated to try it.

I really don't understand how people can smoke these days, when there's no freaking way in hell that you can avoid knowing about all the negatives about it. There is nothing positive to it! The information is basically thrown at your freaking face, how can people still miss it?
It's not that people "miss" the information. They either don't care or are willing to take the risk. And it is just a risk- because not everyone who smokes dies in middle age from cancer.

If only- the job market would be a lot better.

Only marijuana. Never tobacco.

Marijuana is worse than tobacco for your lungs IMO, but i do it far less than a tobacco smoker would smoke, so i guess that evens it out a bit. It's not addictive. Better than being drunk by a long shot.

Well from the OP's definition I do smoke.

"Basicaly, do you inhale smoke"

Yes, i do inhale smoke, but its second hand. I'm only 14 so i can't smoke, and i don't, but i got two chain smoking parents, and its winter so the house is all closed up.

And they wonder why im always in the backroom with the door shut, and why im always coughing when im near them.

I've always wanted to try a cigarette, just to have done it once in my life. I haven't actually ever smoked anything, though.

Edit: This post make me think - most stuff that's bad for your body/the environment seems to look that way as well (ex: oil in the sea is nasty and it also looks nasty), but this isn't really the case with smoking. In fact, any kind of 'breathing' is mostly associated with healthy activities. Which made me wonder: would it be possible to make healthy non-chocolate cigarettes with for example an eucalyptus substance instead of tabacco?

Used to smoke A LOT cigarettes... 10 or so on school days (because i couldnt always smoke at home, i ended up smoking more during the day), anything up to a full twenty deck when out with friends & at parties.

now only do it when drunk, stoned or really stressed/angry.
i've got my "emergency twenty deck" hidden in my room just in case, because these days its been quite easy to put me in a shitty mood.

Though i'm proud to say I haven't smoked since a few days after my now-ex-boyfriend dumped me, so that's about a month.

I smoke cloves, but very infrequently. It takes me months to go through a pack, and then a few more months before I get another. This is because I love the taste of the damn things, but really don't want to be addicted or have any more smoke in my lungs than natural processes would clear out. I also don't hit them very hard, just enough for the taste and a bit of mellow. If I feel the pull of them getting stronger I give the rest of the pack away.

However even this may end soon since the Philip Morris Monopoly Protection Act of 2009 passed, killing the Djarum Black cigs I like. The replacement "cigars" taste terrible. I'm even less likely to buy the unmolested originals online than I am to go get the nasty-ass fake ones in the store.
