I just moved on.
With a community like an abandoned port-a-potty i just felt like it was time to move on.

Hey, someone who does exactly what I do. I was starting to think I was the only person who occasionally gets bored with the game (usually after two or three months, or when school starts) and quits with the intention of returning.Gormourn said:I've quit more then once, never with actual intent of quitting it forever - just once I got bored.
And I haven't played it in about half a year, which is a normal WoW-break for me. And I'm probably coming back to play with a friend during summer.
It's not a bad game. And really, I'd rather play it for a few hours a day then have what most people call "life". I talk to people I like, I do fun things with them. Some are in real life, some are online. That's really enough for me. I do not like going to parties and getting drunk, which apparently makes up 90% of having a life.
Ulduar 25. Unless you're in Ensidia, I highly doubt you would find this "user-friendly".Ghostkai said:Quit a couple of months ago.
Just got boring. Raids are so "user-friendly" now it's not a challenge.
Tell me why you know that guild name or why you even care about it?hannarr said:Ulduar 25. Unless you're in Ensidia, I highly doubt you would find this "user-friendly".Ghostkai said:Quit a couple of months ago.

Ulduar wasn't that hard. Some tricky mechanics on certain fights, granted. But not difficult. And I only raided 25 man, due to 10 mans being retard easy. And the gear being crap.hannarr said:Ulduar 25. Unless you're in Ensidia, I highly doubt you would find this "user-friendly".Ghostkai said:Quit a couple of months ago.

Seriously that's the only part of WoW i never understood.
the E-fanbois of Guilds they will never, Ever Be part of.
I'm not usually one for aphorisms, but..."absence makes the heart grow fonder." I still remember when I went back from my first break, and spent an hour reacquainting myself with the controls, my storage, the Auction House, the copper veins outside Dun Morogh, and my equipment...all with the purpose of building a spyglass. It was one of the most fun hours I've had in the game.Gormourn said:Hehe, yeah. I don't think there are that few of us though.NeutralDrow said:Hey, someone who does exactly what I do. I've been around since about patch 1.5 or 1.6, and I was only actually paying money for maybe 2 years or less of the past 4 or 5.
Once the game becomes stale, it's great to leave for a few months until a new patch arrives or so you can have some kind of a "new feel" for a few more weeks once you return.
It's not really a fandom I have, just a sort of recognition of the best PvE guilds and PvP teams. Most players who also enjoy the community of WoW kind of pick this sort of knowledge up along the way..Stevedave00 said:Tell me why you know that guild name or why you even care about it?hannarr said:Ulduar 25.
