I don't get it, why do people buy the Call of Duty games? In a few months it's outdated by another CoD game. They just keep making new titles all the time. Why would I pay for a multi player game just to have to scrap it a few months later when the playerbase jumps on the new release?
CoD4 was released over 2 years ago and is still one of the most played games on Xbox Live. I'm fairly certain it has an equally monstrous following on both PSN and PC. You act as if they release a new CoD game every 2 months, when in reality it's more along the lines of 12-15 months in between. Not only that, but the ones released every year are made by 2 different developers. Only 1 of those 2 developers actually knows what the hell they're doing. Guess which one is making MW2?

I'm already dissapointed it's still using the horribly unbalanced perks based system again. Class based was much better, no unbalanced setups that put you as a big advantage over others, that and not everyone was running around with a fucking M16 and stopping power. I'll still buy it and play the fuck out of it, I just wish IW would learn how unbalanced their system is.
It's not unbalanced. All of the so-called "overpowered" perks and guns are available either right from the start or at a very early level. I can think of only 4 guns/perks that anyone uses AT ALL that are unlocked at high levels (P90, .50 Cal, Bandolier, and Dead Silence), and none of them is gamebreaking in the least. The 2 best guns and 4 of the best perks (M16, MP5, 3x Special Grenade, Stopping Power, Deep Impact, Steady Aim) are all available the moment you unlock 'Create a Class'. In any game where there is customization, there will be min-maxers. People who strive to be the best no matter what it takes. Deal with it.
