they dont punnish you they just give you increasing longer leactures about it in my school for stufflike getting annoyed to the point and thumping someone then getting a why getting annoyed is bad 3o minute lecture whih could tak ten minutes

The School should have the right to punish a student for something that involves school. Like a fight that happens off school grounds that had its beginning on School property.

Anything that happens outside the school and doesn't involve the school in any way, shape, or form is the parents, not the school.

Absolutely not. This comes up in the news at least once a year, when some kid is not allowed to walk the stage because a photo surfaced of him/her on the internet with a beer in his/her little underaged hand. Never mind that so often, said photo was taken in a country where that person was over the legal drinking age; those misguided crusaders that populate the school faculty must unite to teach that kid a little lesson and ensure that no young adult is having fun anywhere, at any time.

I only wish that Robert Lipton were there to take his beard and 'stash off and place it on those naive teachers' faces and simply request that they give it a ponder...

i think the school should only care for "inner-school" problems, but with most pedagogic jobs you couldn't make this kind of line. Bullying for example needs the teachers to also get active outside school... but on the other hand in the example the "misdeed" isn't connected to the school itself, unlike bullying and others.

Outside of school, your parents and the Police/Law Enforcement group are the ones who should punish you.

This is pretty much the only time where the school should have any say in what you do on your free time.
All other offenses can be taken care of by police and/or parents.

As mentioned previously, if you're in school uniform then yes, if not then no.

My old school had this policy and pretty much forced us to behave when we were going to and from school. Anyone found misbehaving and ruining the schools reputation were put in isolation and dealt with.
