No reason to wait to laugh. If you're right (which you are) it just means that the nuts will have gotten a slightly greater amount of the ridicule they so thoroughly deserve and on the comically infinitesimal chance that you're wrong, no one will be able to say "told you so" because the world will have ended.

Isn't that how we make mistakes and learn from them? You know something that you didn't know a day ago, I think it's for the greater good, if it is rude and isn't really beneficial. And really, this happens almost everywhere.

And I don't see a point to making a thread about a topic you said was stupid, for the main reason being 'I'm bored'. And getting offended? Blarg.

Technically the world should've "ended" months ago. The Mayan calender didn't have leap years, while our calender does. If we took off the leap years that we have had, then it would've been December 2012 already.

Anyway if you don't know the Mayan Calendar ends in (i think) September 20th and that has a lot of people thinking that we're going to die on that day
Basically what i'm asking is if you think we are?

It was December (but you already know that), and the Mayan calenders predict it? Well, it already happened. Leaps Years. Because of leap years what we believe that would happen this year actually would've already happened numerous years ago.

EDIT: OK so i got the date wrong...does it really matter that much? this is a stupid topic to begin with and apparently people are taking this as a serious topic which surprises me even more.

Your really quite exaggerating this, people are correcting a mistake you made and I doubt any would want to shove it in your face for any reason. And besides that, the whole end-of-the-world thing is a very touchy subject for some (though not myself personally).
