no, i do not.

i only ever use about 2 of them online. irl and afk. and that's only when speed is important.

i ignore those that do use them most of the time.

"lol" is a pretty good comment in itself. It's like an amused or ironic smile. But I never use any abbreviation IRL because most people would find it stupid.

I've always hated when people do that.
Anything from LOL in public to saying they're gonna go play some COD (pronounced cawd apparently) really irritates me.
Honestly i don't even use abbreviations online that much so I just like when people type or say things the way they were originally intended.

Almost never. Its just easier to say "What the Fu**" than "Double You Tee Ef".

For some reason, I feel like "GTFO" rolls off the tongue smoother than the full phrase, and not just because of the length difference. Maybe it's just me, though.

I use abbreviation for a whole sentence sometimes to confuse people. Like GOOMHIHY. Get out of my house I hate you. Stuff like that, I don't think that counts though because they are not online abbreviations or recognized abbreviations at all for that matter.

My school is just across the road from an all-girls school so I have to listen to their crap in the afternoon. Often I hear them say "oh-em-gee" and I have to grip the table on which I'm sitting with all my strength to stop myself from launching over the fence and attacking them.
