I use it every time I make a thread, unless I know for a FACT that it hasn't been made before.

Like when I make one of my RPs, for example.

Yes. Yes I do. I do because I cannot stand listening to certain individuals who complain that there was topic similar to the one I made a year and a half ago, and that I should have used the search bar, and that I am a complete noobish idiot for not using it.

I don't make threads. I am afraid of creating content that will make people hate me.
Aye, same. I've created some embarassing threads in my time. So I just don't make them anymore.

Actually, it's because I don't have anything interesting to talk about.
But mainly it's this.

Nope, I don't care if you've seen a thread done a dozen times before, I posted it so I could see other people's opinions, if you don't like it, then don't click on it.

Yep... I don't make a lot of threads but when I do I always add 'Search Bar approved' or whatever... But I would consider my threads that I have made to be unique (cept my ACII one, which was dissapointingly my most popular), however, considering the creativity of this site, I'm always worried there is another person with similar ideas and my ideas may be already posted, and even if i don't find anything, I'm still worried I mightn't be the first with my 'unique idea'.

I dont make threads but, i wouldnt use the search anyways. For me sometimes you need a fresh thread because hell if i want to look through 9 pages of chat that has more than likely rambled onto topics not even relevant to the orginal topic anyways.

I wouldnt start a thread if there were 1 or 2 similar on the same page however.

Why would you want to be branded The Escapist's resident leper? The mystical Search Bar is the patron saint of The Escapist. Don't fuck wit' it.

I've only made one thread, and then I used the "Forum Search" quite extensively, trying three similar but still somewhat different phrases that meant pretty much the same thing.
So yeah, I use it. I'm neat like that.

No because I come here often enough to know what threads get constantly made. I sometimes do, but the search bar is often wrong, honestly. I've searched for a thread title word for word and couldn't find it.

No. Because I refuse to bow down to the Search Bar Nazis. Anyone who ever dares to post 'Search Bar!' on one of my threads will get their asses mailed in a PM to whatever mods are online. They're as bad as trolls.
Yep. I do not, nor will I ever. If these people had their ways there wouldn't be any new threads, just constant necroing. This is the only forum I have ever seen where people prefered a necro'd thread to a new one.
