I played the first three in the series, and I liked them well enough. But after that it just seems like the developers are just wringing the series through every spin-off possible. So, no, at this point I wouldn't like to see another Jak and Daxter game.
Try this one on for size Jack and Daxter: The Lost Fronteir. its a game beetween 2 & 3 dealing with the major gap of information or so I am told. Its for the PSP. And its already out. Unfortunatly it was NOT NOT NOT made by Naughty Dog and for this I am sad
But then there's Jak X, a competent little cart racer, with ri-GODS-DAMNED-DICULOUS physics. I can't beat the last cup. Neither can anyone I know. The CP gets too good and the physics never get any better. Fuck that game. *goes back to playing it*
and now theres this thing for the psp. i know nothing about it. someone inform me of it
AND THEN GET NAUGHTY DOG OFF ITS ASS AND MAKE THEM MAKE JAK TRILOGY FOR XBOX AND PS3!
I remember playing the first one, then got lost on how the concept went from ancient magic times, to futuristic racing with guns, didn't make a lot of sense and lost my interest.

1. PS3 sucks balls.
2. PS3 owners are generally faggots who buy the Elite version because it's marketed as better.
3. PS3 owners generally hate games like J&D, so the game would hardly sell.
4. There are already 4 J&D games on PS2, it's a tradition.

It's already out. it's called the lost frontier. It didn't sell for shit.
Let's just be honest, if they want to validate making another Jak game, a few things must happen:
1) It must be on the ps3. Selling it on the newest console justifies hyping the game up and will likely see a bigger return.
2) Jak needs to do more platforming. This is just a returning to your roots situation. The newest game does have platforming, but it was very sub-par. Bring the platforming back up to Precursor Legacy standards.
3) It must be created by Naughty Dog. The truly high quality J&D games came from Naughty Dog, and we know Naughty Dog is capable of making great games(how many game of the year awards for U2?). I also didn't much care for the look of the new game and I believe that Naughty Dog could fix the quality control issues, but that's just nitpicking(though I can't really blame High Impact, it was a psp game after all).
4) Retcon most of the new game. There were a lot of things that could be said about the new game. The story developing gaping plot holes in its latest incarnation is one of those things, For example Dark Daxter makes absolutely no sense.
Daxter got turned into a precursor by falling in a vat of Dark Eco. Now, Jak 3 would tell us that precursors who meddle with Dark Eco become one of the Dark ones. Daxter didn't become a dark one, he became a buffer Daxter. This angers me to be honest.
If all of these requirements were met, I would gladly squeal in excitement like the little fanboy I am at the idea of a new Jak and Daxter game.
