I'm at the age of life where most of my family have had children, but I'm not ready at the minute. I want to be in my own home, and my boyfriend should have a job.
I've got 6 nieces and nephews, I was rather young when they were born and if they'd cry, I'd dash out the room and let the parents deal with it. My sister recently had a baby and the second I hear him cry I jump up to soothe him and hold him.
He has a habit of turning his head towards my breast (my sister breast feeds) I have to tell him he won't find anything there xD

The thought of childbirth terrifies me to be honest. I have all the names planned out though!

Some day, Im the only one who can carry on the Reinert name as well as my German blood. Also My kids are going to be the most badass children ever.

Well I hope not because of financial troubles and the fact I would be a terrible dad but I get the feeling that I'll accidentally get my lover pregnant so I'm preparing for either way.

It has been agreed that if I father a child, my friend is going to quit his job and become a teacher so that he can help create the most monstrous cynical dark little child ever

I've been told that I'm good with kids and all, but I think the main reason this is, is because I'm terrified of kids and I just make them go play in a corner, far away, preferably Japan if I could help it, or at least an area code away. Yeah, I've got problems...

Goodness yes, I would love to have kids for one of the purposeses of their names being if boy(s) Wilhelm, Thomas Jefferson(T.J. for short) and Octavian. As for a girl(s) Mineva, Helena, or Gloria. Plus I mean, gotta have that family live on.

I can guarantee most people here who say no will be parents when they grow up.

Anyway right now, no, in the future (when I'm 30 perhaps), I don't know. It depends what my wife/girlfriend would want. Most likely i'll change my mind about kids in the future when i'm a bit older.

The idea doesn't appeal to me much right now, kids are very expensive and time consuming. It's not the responsibility or commitment that bothers me, its just that kids tend to take away years of your life that could be spent with just me and my partner, which I think I'd be more happy with honestly.

Also the whole "carrying on the bloodline after you're dead" thing, i've never understood. I don't give a crap about that.

No. I have no desire to take care of kids. I am also probably too selfish for that sort of thing.

My other half and I are definitely have children. :3 We've talked about it a few times and when we're both ready we plan to have a family of our own. <3

Not at all. A child would completely ruin my life.

I believe I could be a responsible father if I was forced into it but I find kids very uncomfortable to be around. I also have no sense of fulfillment or accomplishment when I help them out or teach them something.

I've been told by every parent who knows I hate kids that my mindset will change the instant I have one. They may be right, but I'm not about to have a child in the hopes I'll suddenly love them.

No. I've already had one, and put him up for adoption. He seems to have turned out okay, for only being 7, but...Not sure I want to try again.

Right now? HEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

In the future? I'm not really sure. It kind of depends if I ever meet someone that I would want to procreate with.

I would, perhaps, like to raise a son as my successor, but the problem is that it usually requires getting a woman involved. A child I can control, but a woman, no one can. I will only have a son if I can do so without ever so much as touching a woman. I will also require rock-solid financial stability, of course, and preferably I would like to raise the child in a country where I will be allowed to raise them my way. I was thinking of Japan, but they're weird. MAYBE China, or better yet, Korea, though I'm not sure how their child abuse laws are set up. I would also like to raise the child in a country with a large atheist population, because the child would be raised atheist. It would be best, I think, if he was not bullied and ostracized like I was. So basically, I need the technology to do it without involving a woman, the money to safely pull it off, and to relocate to a country that has a large atheist population and is A-okay with corporal punishment. Those are some pretty steep prerequisites, and I'm still mulling it over. I am only twenty, after all.

I don't like children. At all. So no, I don't see myself ever having children but I know that it may be subject to change in the future.

I want children.. But not girls if at all possible. I'd be too terrified if I had any girls. I'm a guy, and I know what the world is like, I'd go insane and bubble rap her if I ever had a girl. Any boy she dated, would be met with shotgun threats. And any date would be under servailance... I don't trust boys, and quite frankly, I'm too paranoid to do any different..

Quite frankly no. I enjoy being single and I value my own personal freedom quite highly. I would much rather have lots of close friends than have a partner with kids. Though I would consider adopting Teens.
