Poll: Do you want to have kids when you grow up?

The Mrs has concluded that we're having at least 2. If one of them isn't a girl we're going for a third. Either way we're stopping there.

I just want one. But my vote doesn't count.

World's got too many bloody people in it already. I agree with the Chinese government - one child per family until we get things stabilized. Too many people + Finite resources means that someone's going to be left with no pie at the end of the day. If you want EVERYONE to live like an American, with today's population, you'd need 1.5 more planet Earths. There's simply too little to allow everyone to have a good life. There's probably enough for everyone to have A life, but not enough for everyone to have what we in the west would consider a comfortable life.

The only way to have a world in which EVERYONE has abundant resources is to limit how many bloody people live on this ball of rock. I'm doing my part - I'm not reproducing or having ANY children. The world only needs about 1 billion people, and we've got nearly 7 BILLION. That's too many, far too many.

And if you really want kids - why not adopt? The damage has already been done, they've already been born, so we can't undo their birth (without being completely, horribly evil) so DON'T have kids - adopt someone else's. You'll be giving a child a good life while not contributing to the bane of over-population.

maybe there need to be a next world war or a very strong virus that kills +- 3miljard people so there is back space on the earth .

Yes i did, i wanted little me's running around, teaching them, loving them all the mushy crap

And im pretty sure most girls have that whole mothering thing wired into them by those little care baby dolls at an early age

You guys better get a young one then because it gets hard in a lot of ways if the woman is 30+ years old, increased chance of birth defects for starters.

I'd only want to adopt a boy who's like around 5, that way you don't have to worry about them sh*tting all over the place but he's still young enough to make me bring him up like a man.

Id much rather buy a cat because unlike kids cats are things id acually like to have around

no i dont want kids but im open to having 2 boys at the max. and id teach them disney is evil and bann them from ever listening to anything disney without my approval/consent.
