I think NPC's and maybe on occasion your own mounts can be cool, however in Skyrim it seems very mountain based and I don't see how horses will work with all the steep cliffs and deep snow however the loss of seeing caravans or horse riding couriers on the road may sap the real felling aspect from travelling on roads.

Dragons mounts would be really cool. There was a mod made for Oblivion that allowed you to do that. it was pretty cool to fly around and look at the landscape. So, even if Bethesda doesn't add it in themselves, it'll be there. Hopefully, whoever adds it will allow the dragon to attack. Can you imagine aerial dragon fights? Pure awesome.
I'd settle for being able to actually fight from horseback rather than having to dismount, and then my horse running off into the wild. :S

But yeah, Dragon fights in mid-air would make this game a must-buy for me!

Horses are practically sure to come up but otherwise no I don't want any vehicles in Skyrim. I think it would than be like Fallout 3 where you become invincible by either being too strong too kill or just flying away in the case if the dragon. Neither of which would make for a good gameplay experience due to the lack of challenge.

well horses are for sure but i also heard something about getting your own pet dragon so I can imagine them letting you ride it which could be fun.

Hells yeah! I can't wait to rev the engine of my 1969 Chevy Guar at the traffic lights next to some douchebag's eco-friendly Toyota Spriggan just to show off.

Yeah, I want a fricking Leeman Russ in there! Oh yeah? Yer a dragon? Have a facefull of tankshells! BAGOOOSH! :D
That was my first thought when he said vehicles, though it would probly only be fun for 5 seconds before its overpoweredness ruins it

horses were ok in oblivion once you got a fast one, though having to dismount to fight was a *****, so they should fix that.

as to dragons as mounts, id hate to see what the dragon armour DLC would cost

Hey! Dragons survived nuking and mass wars in that Shitty dragon movie! They'll just... Do something to defeat it!

Nah, but it's quite obvious he means "mounts" or "animals". Gotta poke fun a little fun at him though. ;)

As for dragons, they havent confirmed them as "ride'able" yet.

I don't think "vehicle" is the term you are looking for. But OT no, I never used a horse for more than 30 seconds in Oblivion. If they can make it better, sure but...

Akatosh mount for Oblivion is in the top 50 mods.

I think Bethesda know what the community want.

As long as it has the same feel as Bloodmoon, I don't care what they put in it.

IT might be coll to have some skill to tame "temporarily" some beasts that you can ride on or maybe sell as a poacher

Vehicles? No. Mounts? Yes, if they're implemented properly. I didn't really use the horses in Oblivion much because they were awkward to use and you couldn't fight while on them. Unless they've improved the mechanics from then, I probably won't use them much in Skyrim either.

There are mounts, as far as I'm aware. Horses and such.

I'm not sure how riding a dragon would work. At all.
Worked in Oblivion.
