I have a niggling feeling that he may actually like it or at least lay off alot of the RPG bits, from what I've seen of the game and what I've heard him complain about all RPGs 13 may actually be well, not good but definitely not bad in his eyes, he could love it

I would find it interesting and would probably find it funny like I do with all his other videos. It is not needed though. I am tired of reading threads about why JRPGs suck and how they can be fixed. If he does review FFXIII there will most likely be a large increase in those type of threads, so he should stay the hell away from it.

Greatness is relative. By your definition it is impossible for anything to be great since someone will always disagree. By your avatar I'm guessing you think Banjo Kazooi is great (spelling? Never played the game myself). I know someone that doesn't like it and thinks the game is nowhere near as good as other people think it is. That doesn't stop it being a great game to you though, does it? To be really pedantic about it, what about Alexander the Great? The Persians wouldn't have thought he was that great, and compared to the British Empire he was rather small-time.Douk said:

No. And not because FF is a beloved franchise and I don't want that mean ol Yahtzee hurting my precious game, but more along the lines of why the hell would I force it on that man?

If he reviews an actual JRPG rather than a SRPG (Valkyria Chronicles) I'd prefer if it was something that has potential and innovation (Resonance of Fate).
I don't need to have Yahtzee tell me that Squeenix produced another boring, 'cinematic', utterly mediocre game that will undoubtedly be massively overrated by the fanboy hordes. It doesn't exactly takes a crystal ball to figure that out.

I love Final Fantasy and I'm not really excited to hear some idiot spouting "blah blah emo blah spiky hair ***** ***** androgynous blah [insert baseless bullshit here] blah blah not the final one..." at incomprehensible speed for five minutes. That's exactly how it will go, now you guys won't have to watch it.
I voted no because there wasn't a "Maybe But" option.. I want him to review deep down because i want him to see him UTTERLY DEMOLISH THAT PILE OF HORSE SHIT! But i also don't want him to because that means i might have to see stuff relevant to the game and have my eyes tainted!
I want him to review it precisely BECAUSE he hates JRPGS. He's biased against it so it would be fun to hear about the flaws in the game that no other reviewer is going to see because most of them are biased towards it. Besides if fanboys can't take the heat on his "OMG GREATEST GAME EVAR", that's their problem.
Part of what makes zeropunctuation fun is that there is no sacred game or concept, everything can be thorn apart (except for portal, but I kind of agree here with yahtzee in that it is perfect, except the length that could have been a little longer). And the fact that he reviews based on his opinion and not some consumer-minded buy/not buy approach is what I think has made him so popular.
Me? I rip apart things I hate, because to hate I have to experience them. But I also like tearing apart things I love, and it would be fun to see him destroy the game just to see how easy (or hard) it would be for him to find something to be angry about.

Yes, but only because it would be hilarious. And I say this as someone who loves FF13 to bits and general thinks the haters who haven't even played it yet can suck it. But Yahtzee is hilarious, and if he reviews it, he will rip on it entertainingly, I'll laugh my head off as I watch it, and then go right back to loving the game.
