I don't care what he reviews. I just get a laugh off of watching them. If anything I want him to do a review Monday - Friday so I can watch a new one every day at work.

Final Fantasy 13 looks like a major break away from the traditional formula in terms of gameplay. For anyone who's kept up with it, it looks like it could be a sign that JRPGs are finally evolving past random encounters, turn-based combat, and boring overworld maps. Yahtzee might give it credit for that, but he probably won't give it a good review, just because it's a JRPG. Honestly, though, only the elitist douches let Yahtzee's reviews influence whether or not they play a game. He gave a bad review to BioShock for crying out loud!

I guess it would be ok. I'm buying the game and will probably enjoy it, but it will probably just be some anti-jrpg cliche biased stuff if he does do a review. Oh, and something about jrpgs having a sword that is bigger then you are, which still is the stupidest fucking reason ever for saying a game is bad. All these people go on about your swords being bigger then you are, and? Your point? Oh wait, they don't have one.

Well it's kind of predictable how the review will be, considering his stance on JRPGs. I'd be too busy enjoying the game myself anyway.

To be honest, I'm afraid too many people will copy + paste his opinion and flood the forums about how Final Fantasy is the worst game of all time. I'd rather not have to force myself to stay away from the forums, because I know I'd be one of the people defending the game (assuming I like it), and get suspended or something for saying something stupid.

I have very little self-control of those kinds of things.

I love the FF series and know Yahtzee is going to tear it apart, but I want to see him review it anyway. If a review causes you to not enjoy a game, then you probably weren't having fun with it anyway.

I am interested to know whether you would want Yahtzee to review FFXIII. I personally believe it would be boring, not because it wouldn't be funny but because I already know what he's not going to say about it.

So what do you think? Do you think he should bite the bullet and make a review that will be obviously unenjoyable for him to create? Or should he just ignore the mail the fanboys send him?

Hopefully if the game is bad like Too Human bad he might enjoy reviewing it. At least thats what I'm hoping for because then the review is good .

My love for JRPGs is irrelevant to this answer. I am going to play FF XIII on my PS3 and I am going to enjoy the hell out of it because that is the kind of game I played since I was 9 years old.

No, I do not want him to waste time on a game that he is not going to like from the get go. I would have him waste his time on something in a genre that he is going to have a better chance of liking. There are too many games out there that he could review so he could waste time on.

I especially would love it if any FF fanboys would leave him alone so he can grind through something else.

i'm actually saying yes. i think ff13 is over rated though. there is only 1 ff game i'm looking forward to and that is ff13 versus.it's suppost to be action rpg style and no turn base play and if they can pull of those epic cgi cut scenes into actual gameplay i'm sure even yatzee will have to review it and say it a step for square.he will probably ***** about why did they not do this when they released ff13.

Ugh, no. It's a an amazing story with what looks to be decent gameplay. I don't need yahtzee and his satire ruining that for me. Though, maybe he can review versus...I mean, it looks and feels emo and I still have no idea what it's about or how it will play.

Also no, I don't really want yahtzee to review that game, because cookie cutter JRPGs have the same cookie cutter flaws that are already mentioned and criticized to death. It would be a boring review.

Considering Yahtzee is predisposed to hating jRPGs, I'd rather not have him review yet another jRPG, filled with the fluffy cinematics that he hates so much. However, it's probably the perfect game for Unskippable to pick up and I look forward to their commentary on the opening sequence.

I'd rather have a review where I can't instantly telegraph exactly what Yatzhee thinks of said product.
