Yes. To protect my fragile hands!

Hey, I may be a man of action, but if I break all my fingers, how could I go onto the internet and let everyone that I'm a man of action!? I mean, I can hardly just walk around telling everyone, can I?

I wear fingerless gloves and when it drops under 5oC (degrees celsius) I put on my leather gloves, on top of the first ones. The leather gloves look awesome with my leather jacket, though many commented on how I looked like a hitman (I hate how because I'm Russian I naturally must also be a killer).

I wear leather gloves since my hands are bony (and therefore uninsulated) and the Michigan winters can get colder than a witch lying naked in an icebox.

And so I ask you, Do you wear gloves?
If so? What reasons do you have for wearing them?
Ya I wear gloves. In Canada it's pretty much a prerequisite if you want to keep your fingers. I currently have 2 pairs: One is a pair of wool handgloves for milder winter weather, and the other is a pair of Mil-spex winter gloves that have so far dealt with -20C winter weather and high wind chill factor with no discomfort for me whatsoever.

I wear gloves occasionally during the winter, as temperatures usually hover between 30 degrees Fahrenheit and 0 degrees Fahrenheit through November to March, with wind chills down to -30. Usually only when I plan to be outside for extended periods of time, such as shoveling, but I have a nice pair of insulated deer skin gloves that do the job of keeping my hands from freezing extremely well. I have a pair of leather SAP gloves, which don't really get much use for their intended purpose, but work well for yard work.

Depends on whether the 'llac is warmed up or not. If the heat will kick on right away when I fire up the ol' V-8, and it is a short walk, generally no, I prefer the tactile sensation of the steering wheel on my hands, and it is safer in my opinion, since I don't have Driving Gloves. If it is particularly cold, and the car has been sitting, I will usually wear the gloves until the car gets warmed up. It doesn't take long for the 4.9 liter engine to warm up, either, less than five minutes at most, to crank out 90 degree heat. As for when I am walking outside in winter, of course, it is Iowa. It gets freaking cold outside.

I wear them in the wintertime. Its aggravating cause even with the thinnest layers you still have to take them off to do simple things like light a lighter.

However I dont wear them for it being cold. I wear them in the wintertime specifically because I cant stand to touch metal in the winter time. Seems like just about every time i touch a door handle or a car door, or anything metal, inside or outside, I get a minor static shock from it. Doesnt hurt, but its unexpected and annoying as hell, cause I cant help but to jump like a little girl when it happens.

I do also to a degree wear them for fashion, as it would look out of place in the wintertime to not be wearing black leather gloves while im wearing my black leather trenchcoat, my 14 inch black paratrooper jump boots and typically a black hat of some kind. /awaits patiently for the imminent "matrix reject" joke.

Yes, I suppose I do, over mittens. I live in a United State in the north, and they're kind of a necessity. What an inane question.

I usually wear some gloves when driving or flying light aircraft.

I also have some steel knuckled bike gloves i've been saving for the inevitable Zombie Apocalypse- mainly because they look cool and will provide hand protection.

I wear gloves, but only when it's cold or I can't leave any fingerprints on my victims.

Nah, it's tough to smoke with gloves on, and I just don't see the point.

Hands in pockets works well enough, for me. And that's going down to -40c.

I have a few pairs of fingerless. They're great because my Phone's a touch screen and I used to hate having to take my gloves off just to change track -_-

I own a few pairs all with their designated purpose. I have my funeral gloves, occasion gloves, winter gloves, phone gloves, murder gloves, cycling gloves, snowball gloves, mild assault gloves, super winter gloves.

My favourite ones are my super winter gloves. They're big and wooly, the warmest gloves I've ever had!
