The weeping angels, they are just terrifying and the first episode I saw them in I couldn't stop holding the cushion

As cool as the master is, and as awesome as the cybermen are (they're like the borg from star trek, or really I should say the borg are like the cybermen), you just can't beat the Daleks. Although the weeping angels are a very very close second.

It's hard for me to say actually. The cybermen, from the beginning of the origninal series' were goofy looking while the new ones are hard core.

THe Daleks are always goofy looking. They are garbage cans after all. But there again enlies their terror. They are completely absurd, alien, and therefore somewhat scary. Scary=Cool so they are cool.

The master has had many incarnations that were better than the newest one, but I could believe the newest one as well, because he had been traped on earth for some time, making him insane. AN insane villain is cool.

So I give all three new incarnations of old villains a thumbs up because they were written so well. It was as if the writers had, at one time, seen the old series and then forgot about them for a while, and then tried to recall the details. THis in most series would be a bad idea, but Doctor Who is an exception to this because he is himself a mystery and the old writers put plotholes in that they wanted to fill later and never got 'round to it. A loose story going all the way back to the 60's. Now that's a story.

Really tempted to say Daleks or The Master but my favorite part about them isn't necessarily the enemy but their relationship with The Doctor.
The sheer emotion the sight of a Dalek brings out in him is more enthralling then the enemy alone could possibly be.
Definetly agree with you on this, the way the Doctor reacted to the first Dalek in the new series really gave it that edge to be more than an evil tin can, at least for me anyway.

Doctor: I'm here to help, I'm the Doctor!

Dalek: Doc-Tor?

Doctor: Impossible...

Dalek: THE DOC-TOR?

I keep seeing the Angels mentioned, when do they first appear?

I'm a fan of the Daleks. Why? Because they have the most awesome voices in the universe.
And they scream everything...

It was in series 3, probably one the best Doctor Who episodes in my opinion

I wish I could vote for all three and the weeping angels.
But instead I voted for "other".

Daleks make me piss myself laughing. They are a bunch of squids in tin suits...

Anyway, what really intrigues me is the Doctors relationship with the other time lords like the Rani or the Monk etc.

Any character that can do this to a man wins my vote. The Master every time.

Also John Simm is amazing.

My all time favourite Dr Who villains are the The Curse of Fenric [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Doctor_Who_monsters_and_aliens#Haemovore].

They genuinely terrified my as a child, and when I bought and re-watched The Curse of Fenric on DVD a few months ago, it was just as impressive as I remember it, if not more so, now that I'm able to appreciate the more adult themes of the story, which originally went straight over my head.

Obviously it wasn't quite as scary, and appears quite hammy to my adult self, but I can still appreciate how it left such an impression on me, it has remained my favourite Dr. Who story of all time.

I would really like to see Fenric make a return in the new series (if he hasn't already...), or even just the Haemovores, since they're a lot better than those lame insect vampires the Doctor faced in Venice.

Oh yeah. If you have an awesome voice you want everyone to hear it.
