So in general,it's not so bad.
Your kidding right... The piracy rate on Wii and 360 is nothing compared to PCMornelithe said:Meh, there's just as much piracy on consoles (360, PSP, DS, etc...), as PC, if not more. I actually buy my PC games. I know 360 owners who have towers of DVD's with burned 360 games.RufusMcLaser said:inb4 this turns into another PC vs. console mud wrasslin' match,
IMHO the big publishers prefer consoles; partly because there's less piracy, partly because it's a little easier to write games for fixed hardware configurations, partly because they can put a lot less effort and depth into the game and still make a packet.
This plus free dlc better content and the greatest of all MODS seriously you can turn your game into anything my fallout 3 resembles a 40k warzone with moira brown dancing on a platform where the bomb used to be.Kollega said:You know,it's hard to be PC gamer these days. Takes about an hour to mod, and boom you can download any 360 image and burn it straight to DVD. Whereas, with PC's, developers have gotten good at making things...difficult (not impenetrable...but still difficult), sure, I can go and find any game I really want for PC. Fact is, I own them all anyway. Not to mention sometimes having to use daemontools, or some other virtual drive to mount an iso. Etc... Or cracks and keygens etc... Yeah, it's easier to pirate games for a 360, and out of everyone I know, more 360 pirating happens than PC.phar said:Your kidding right... Nah its because retail chains don't really serve the PC gamers anymore so its not worth the extra expense when Digital distribution is on the rise didn't Steam see a 97% increase compared to the previous yearGamingAwesome1 said:And as for why the MW2 special edition isn't on the PC, it's because alot of kids with money in their pocket with an X360 or PS3 will see the shiny box and go "ME WANT!" where as not alot of these idiots own a competent enough rig. Not to degrade anyone with a brain that actually is getting but you can see where I'm trying to get with this.
