I like winter, summer is okay when it is exactly 72 degrees F, it is cloudy, there is a slight breeze, and the cows jump over the moon as the pigs fly.
Seriously,I prefer winter, I have a good excuse to stay inside, the sun doesn't try to kill me, and I don't mind the snow. Unless I have to shovel it, then it is a pain in the @$$

Dont be such a big fairy. People have been out and in the sun since we were recognisable as people. The sun provides vitamin D. If you're sensible then its good for you.

Go outside and enjoy it. Get yourself into a body of water and have some fun. Go into town and see how the attractive women are dressed in less. Go to the park/country side and do something different. You can laugh at those with horrific sunburn too.

It's win win. Are you a goth?
No i'm not a goth, more of a nerd. Defintely not a goth. I just dont likke going outside
And you can be quite hard pressed to find attractive girls innapropriately dressed in middlesbrough (in england).
I got dragged to the beach yesterday by my friends and was bored the entire time. I ended up just going down the puband spending money in the arcades on time crisis which you can do any time of year.
I think the only good thing about summer is BBQs.
Middlesbrough... fair point.

Still, ever cloud has a silver lining. Like you said, BBQs rock.

It really depends on your house. I love Winter because my house is just generally warm. I hate Summer for the exact same reason...

I live in Australia, where we are approximately one centimeter away from the sun. 5 minutes out in the sun, and I turn into a blistered shell of my former self. Also heat makes me ill as.

ON THE OTHER HAND: I love the ocean, I love summer fruit, and indeed salads and summer cooking. So if I have air con, sunscreen, a good hat, and a shaded spot on the beach? I'm ok with summer.

Well im in montreal where we have to deal with a pretty bad winter compared to most places, so summer here is pretty sweet. Also our women are beautiful so summer is pretty godsend here.

I have an active dislike of the summer. Its too hot, fat people start walking around dressed innapropriately, people try and scam money out of you more, all the insects and stuff come out, the sun is EVIL and trying to kill me and people wanrt me to do stuff more.
I just like sitting at home with my computer games and internet. I dont want to go to the beach and work on my tan, i'm fine being pale white.
Roll on winter and the snow and the freezing cold rain.
You have said everything I wanted to say. I salute you, good sir.

Anyway, yeah, I do hate summer with a fiery passion (yes, that was a pun, yes, it was intentional, and yes, it was horrible). However, I am glad that school does not conitnue in the summer, like in Japan. That must suck so very much.

Australian summers suck. I've had +45[sup]o[/sup]C days in my backyard, when we didn't have air conditioning. Fuck the sun, fuck the surf, fuck the sand; give me a warm bed, a storm outside and a book any night.
I could not agree more. Oh and the mozzies! (that's mosquitos for you forigners). Flys just love pissing you off as well. Just stay spring, thats all i ask

I dislike the summer because I live so far up north that you can never see the stars at night. And the bugs. And the heat. And the stickiness.

*reads post* But which part is weird?
You don't tan.
Even I tan.
Freckles are silly, though.
Well not that I notice.
When I go out in the sun my skin does go a slightly pinkish colour, but always goes pale again. Hooray to fit in with the ginger stereotype.
