Poll: Does anyone alse hate he summer as much as me?

When it comes to extreme cold or extreme heat, I prefer snow to the sun. I don't mind being cold, basically, my summer is spent hiding in shadows because I can't stay in the sun longer than 10 mins for fear of it bringing on huge heat-induced migraines.

I like the summer simply because I hate the cold. You do get some stupid behaviour when the sun is out, like fat people walking around with no shirt on which is frankly just vile. But on the upside you gert some really hot girls walking around wearing barely anything which is a definete plus point.

I have an active dislike of the summer. Its too hot, fat people start walking around dressed innapropriately, people try and scam money out of you more, all the insects and stuff come out, the sun is EVIL and trying to kill me and people wanrt me to do stuff more.
I just like sitting at home with my computer games and internet. I dont want to go to the beach and work on my tan, i'm fine being pale white.
Roll on winter and the snow and the freezing cold rain.

I like the Canadia idea (sry 40k reference). Ive always wanted to go to canada, visit the set of stargate, steal a mounties hat etc. And its nice and cold with snow and stuff

I concur! Everything you said there I whole-heartedly agree with... besides, the sun and heat makes me start scratching everywhere ._. (Personal Conclusion: I'm allergic to the SUN! >8U)
I have hayfever, is just as fine as you being pale white and there ain't no beaches where I come from anyway, so the entire "summer = hot beach chicks" arguement is lost on me... *Scratches*

I felt like a true viking and Norwegian after having been in hot, hot Italy for ten days. back in November, then returning to Norway as winter rolled in heavily here, with snow, and cold, and I was the only one seemingly ecstatic over the cold, being the only one not covering myself up and shuddering, but rather smiling and being happy not having it INHUMANLY hot anymore! 8D

I hate the summer simply because it's insanely hot. I don't really like cold either, but it's much easier keeping warm during the winter than cool during summer. At least for me.

I prefer the spring or autumn.

Until you've spent a summer in Houston, New Orleans, or any other gulf coast city you have no reason to ***** about summer. Over 90% humidity, 100F (38C) heat, and the attitude people have with that weather make mid-July through late August miserable.

I spent two and a half years in Houston. The summers are brutal. Having said that they are real pussies during winter. The natives were all wearing coats and complaining where I just wore long sleaves. Its not like it was even cold enough for frost.

This is very true. I went to OU for 5 years (woo changing majors) so I was wearing jeans and a tee/polo during Christmas while everyone was bundled up and complaining.
