Well Homophobia is still a huge problem in the world, but I don't think that many people here are, I certainly am not.

I don't like being hit on by other guys. Other than that, I'm fine with homosexuality in general.

I chose no way, but I feel the need to clarify.

So long as it doesn't adversely effect other people, I don't give a flying fart what people do with their lives. Being gay, becoming addicted to rollercoasters, Furryism, juggling chainsaws, whatever, I don't care. What bothers me is the "infective" pursuits that people seem to insist on forcing me to like. Metallica, Religion, Vegitarianism... All examples of things that will all get pushed as the ONLY WAY TO LIVE. Do it yourself with buddies that like it, and I'll support you, but tell me I shouldn't be eating my third pig of the week and words will be had...

Many people still are, but I think that Christians, Jews and Muslims are the worst, as their religion forbids it etc. Me myself, I have no problems with homos and I get angry when people comes with them 16 Century claims that it's a disease or a sin from God etc ..

I'm a guy, and I don't care, why should I?

It's hardly my place to say its wrong. Hell, it isn't anyone's place to say its wrong.

Heck, Gay Marriage was just legalized in my state, I went to the rally with my girlfriend and a "Free Hugs" sign. It was awesome.

i understand. im going to compare this to a situation ill probably get in trouble for, but i smoke weed. and i have friends who smoke. and i absolutely hate it when they try to force people to do that. now, ive met people who tried to "convert" people to being gay, but i dont believe its forceful.

Why would it vary by gender? I'm curious. I mean, maybe it does, but I've experienced just as many female bigots as I have male bigots.

And no, no rational person should care if someone's gay. It can be a personality trait, sure, but it's not a disease or justification to make all homosexuals pariahs.

as a female, i notice that males have more of a tendency to be homophobic... im not being judgemental, and i never said it was a bad thing, i just think its more likely that a guy would be. i think it may be a masculinity thing.

I don't care if people are gay. I don't even care if gay people hit on me, actually I generally take it as a complement; I've always wondered why people care if a gay guy does hit on them, it's not like getting hit on by a gay guy forces you to be gay with him, I take it the same way that I'd take it if a girl I wasn't attracted to hit on me. I'm not interested, but it's nice to hear that someone finds me attractive. However, I do know way too many people who do care if people are gay, it's part of why I hate living in Oklahoma.

Nope! I sure don't care if people are gay or not, just that they're happy and it's as simple as that for me.

People always act so tolerant in polls and discussions like these.

But when you log into any game or chat channel its "Fag! Queer! Gay Homo!" I mean, its everywhere. Practically reflexive as a derogatory term.

Well if people would stop believing bigots then gay would just be as normal as everything else in the "normal world" but for me I don't care who a person is in love with as love is love is it not ? Who cares if some people look down on it. Gay's didn't cause floods etc nature did so stop blaming them for the world's disasters.

I'd agree with you, actually. Males are much more aggressive and feel the need to spout homophobic feelings if they feel that'll get them somewhere. Well, most of them are. This is all one huge generalization.
