Does anyone, other then our friends at FOX news, take Donald Trump seriously. Since his anouncement that he's thinking about running (an obserd bandwagon that all of the republican candidates are jumping on this time around), he's completely changed his views on topics like gay rights, and renewable energy. He's also in the news, in someway, everyday with some new gimmick or publicity stunt.
His latest publicity stunt was erecting a seven story flag pole on a golf course owned by Trump himself. Not only a tacky addition, the flag pole is endangering helicopters, and in direct violation of the county law. Now, when challenged by the local town's major to take down the pole, Trump is able to claim patriotic superiority; no doubt making him a hero for flag rights in the eyes of his supporters.
All things considered, Trump is exploiting politics for free advertising time; trying to sell his show, his hotels, and anything else he's put his name on. Not to mention his behavior towards people who have interviewed him is nothing short of dickish.

I do think he's going to actually run, I also think he's also unintentionally running for the biggest idiot of the year.

I kinda do.

He has enough money to pretty much buy himself into the office, though I dont know if he can run the country. and I'm sure if he had everyone who worked for him or was associated to someone who worked/is associated to him, he'd win.

I dont think he'll win, but I wouldnt exactly be surprised. he has a ebtter shot then Palin.

I don't follow American politics, however, I would say that Trump would be a very... Conservative president. It would definitely be a step back.

Funny how you think he actually has money, the guy is broke, he got himself into bankruptcy and shouldnt be allowed anywhere near money.
The guy's got both a high net worth and a runs a company witha large net worth.

He got himself into bankruptcy and then convinced the banks he owed millions to loan him more money and then got himself out of debt.

He's more sane than most republicans... but then he really hurt his image in my eyes with the whole birther thing so... I was like, "hey look, a reasonable republican. Wait, he's going on about the certificate now? Damnit". Though I don't know his opinions on any other subject than economics so for all I know he could be completely batshit insane.

I just can't envision 'President Trump'. Too many jokes, for one. Not enough charisma for another.

Sadly some people do. I don't think Trump really does which makes it all the more depressing.

I had a good laugh the other day: I was watching some of the older Simpsons episodes, and I came across the one where Lisa gets elected President. Her first board meeting, she tells them "Now, as you know we've inherited quite a budget crisis from President Trump." I literally lol'd.

Considering how much the mainstream media has been focusing it's spotlight on him alone, they are basically begging for him to run. How many other republicans have gotten even a tenth of the screen time from MSNBC? Have all the other republican candidates gotten a tenth combined?

The liberal media is trying to choose the republican candidate again, like they did with McCain. Frankly, I'd rather see Marco Rubio, Bobby Jindal, or Herman Cain as the candidate well before Trump even gets mentioned.

Well some people do obviously.

Though the guys an idiot, pretty obviously. I mean, the guy doesn't seem to think ahead or about actual facts when he speaks.

Luckly his numbers are down after the whole birth certificate thing, so I'd like to hope he won't make it. That party deserves better than him.

Well, the good news is, with people like him and Newt running, Obama is practically guarenteed to win. If he doesnt though, then I know that it really is the end of the world.
(As much as anyone may dislike Obama, I cant see how anyone likely to run so far can be seen as a superior choice to Obama.)

While I think he will run, I dont think hell win and if he does, I will do something that will piss him off. I hate the man and think he would be a terrible president.
