If the this question was asked back in early May, I would say yes. But my mom owed me me about 700 dollars back then, and I bought a 32 inch Insignia 1080p HDtv at Best Buy for 460 bucks, which included the two year warranty that came with it, so I didn't have to pay extra for one.
I had originally planned on getting a 32 inch Vizio 1080p LCD HDtv at Target, but when I got the thing home and opened the box, I found that there was a giant long crack on the inside LCD part of the screen. Took it back, and they said they didn't have any more in stock. It was actually a money saver, because it would have cost me 560 dollars, 50 of that was the warranty I had to buy, because it didn't come with one.
Besides, my Insignia is much better for me. Because even though it is the same size screen as that Vizio was, it isn't as bulky and is three-times less the weight. Example, two people were needed to carry the Vizio box. I could carry the Insignia box by myself.
Also, my Insignia has more device hook-ups than the Vizio had. The Insignia has, the cable tv hook-up, two AV spots, two component spots, the VGA(which is awesome since I use my tv as my computer monitor now), and 4 HDMI plug-ins. The Vizio only had 2 HDMI hook-ups.
So if I was rich enough to have that many devices, I could have 10 things hooked up to my tv. Still, nothing is greater than using it as a computer screen. I don't think I could go back to my little 17 inch monitor that I ended up giving away to my mom.
