I see nothing wrong with this image. The kid is to young to have a sexual orientation figured out, (Straight, homosexual and what have you) let alone be gender confused. There is nothing wrong with that.
There's a huge difference between gender identity and sexual orientation, gender identity is obvious from a very early age in almost every case.

Oh, and don't colour your posts, you're not special, you're just annoying.

For me, the bigger controversy is spending $65 on a shirt that your kid will probably outgrow in a matter of months. I've never understood the concept of pricey high fashion for little kids.
Agreed. Kids grow out of clothes so fast I can't compretend the mentality that $65 for one shirt is a reasonable expenditure.

It looks to me like a mother, having a joke and spending some time with her son. Nothing more, nothing less.

Seriously, things are getting out of control. My five year old daughter likes to hold my hand when we go out to shops and stuff and I sometimes get looks from people like "is he a potential pedophile?" What am I supposed to do, be distant and uncaring toward my daughter incase they mistake a father's concern for his daughter as something malevolent?
There's going to come a time where she'll be embarrassed to be seen within five metres of me so I've got to cherish these moments while I have them.

a) The kid won't really care
b) I don't really care.

Controversy? Well maybe if you squint really hard you can say she's turning him gay.
Or more likely, if you squint really hard people will look and you and ask "what the fuck are you doing?"

Yes it is wrong... it is absolutely disgusting.

All this is for is to be used as blackmail later on when the kid brings his first girlfriend home and the threat of showing the picture off to humiliate them.

Evil, Blasphemous, and shameful.

I pre-emptively popped out my monocle and bellowed "GOOD LO-" then saw the picture and wondered what the hell was supposed to be the fuss!

If no one hand pointed it out to me, I would have never even seen that.

I wouldn't call it gender confusion though, so much of what kids at his age is just mimic what they see around them not so much assigning gender roles to certain traits or activities yet. Hell it might even have been a kid who just came up with the idea to put it on his toes for some reason- why? why the hell does any kid that age really do something?

I Didn't even notice the painted toenails until I read the post.

Is there something wrong with that picture? No. But there is something wrong with whoever thinks there is.

I love the picture, they look very happy. I doubt the child is gender confused. I doubt the mother is targeting gender confused children with that picture. And I still don't see the connection between the boys striped shirt, and gender confusion.

What the fuck is up with your avatar? nearly gave me a heart attack!

OT: Like everyone said before, he's 5. Kids don't really think about gender roles at that gar. And even if he was older, what's wrong with it?

I didn't even notice that the kid had his toenails paints until you had stated that fact. I don't find anything wrong with that, I may find it just slightly weird, but not wrong.

If the boy was wearing girls clothing and make-up such as lipstick and what not then I would say that something is wrong with him.
