If you peel a banana stem to bottom with out break the bottom end off there is a gross black spot on it check it out...or don't but it is there :S

My dad has managed Produce in countless grocery stores for the past 25 years, and he says that eating bananas the, "Normal" way is outright wrong, and that chimps eat bananas upside-down, like you. So I think you are rightfully in the clear, weird insofar as being in a minority, but not weird in regards to being unreasonable or, "Wrong".

Personally, I'm not a big fan of bananas.
