It is diagonal with the tip touching the top, a 90 degree angle, then the rest lies at the bottom. I put other.

It touches the top an the bottom at the same time. *"Oh the humanity" like voice*What does it mean?!!
Definitely this. It touches the roof, and the teeth, and the base.

I'm scared.

Ok, so I wasn't gona ask this, but after carefully studying the placement of my tounge in my mouth when I close it I just can't help it!

When you close your mouth after say talking, does your tounge hit the roof of your mouth or does it rest at the bottom? Is there a gap inbetween the top or the bottom?

And yeah, I had tons of things I could have done last night... ...really!
It's 'tongue' or 'tung', not tounge...

OT: When at the dentist, I curl it back so it won't hinder the guy in his work.
If my mouth is loosely closed I slightly push it against my lower set of teeth. If I clench my teeth, I swell it up so it's jammed between my upper and lower jaw...

Yeah I'm that odd.

Somewhere in the middle? More towards the bottom though, however, I admit I have an overbite.

Not a good idea, actually.
You should relax your mouf muscles as much as possible.
In fact, you shouldn't even try to open your mouth as much as you can; let the dentist pry your jaw down as he needs to.
Tensing up muscles in your jaw, like pulling your tongue back, dissipates any sedative much faster and keeps it from working properly.
Meaning it'll hurt when they do their thing, and you'll scream like a ***** and make the dentists work much more of a pain in the ass.

Um... Low I think.
I've never actually thought about that before. Oh internet, you continue to find increasingly random things for me to ponder over. How I love you.

Now that is weird, it normally rests at the top of my mouth, funny how when people point out stuff to you, you begin to notice, now I can't take my mind off it.

Okay, that's weird that I haven't noticed it before.

Top for me, but it feels like I try to, like, vaccum pack it in. As in when I close my mouth I can't feel any air in their what-so-ever. If that makes sense.
It doesn't, nevermind!
But I have wondered why the tongue would sit like that though. I mean, shouldn't it relax in the mouth when you aren't using it...?

I never said I forcefully open it as wide as I can. Plus, who said I'd scream? Getting your teeth pulled out with failing painkillers, that's a reason to scream.

Yeah i do the vaccum thing too, so for me its not really top or bottom cos my mouth is closed so tight its touching top and bottom
